Game help needed, slow comp?

well i can already guess the answer to this question is that my computer sucks but i'll ask it anyways cause anything would help.

basically when im in pw it takes FOREVER for the game to answer to whatever i do, i never lagg when moving or anything, but whenever i click on an npc, or order my pet to attack something, or even get on a mount/flying device. i honestly have to wait about 15+ seconds for it to happen, and sometimes the whole game kind of stops, like all the monsters and people stop moving, and i can still move but i think thats just what i see, whats actualy happening is im dyeing and not returning fire cause idk that im beign attacked.

anyways ANY help would be greatly appreciated, i just downloaded pw again after a long time, and would love to get into it again but if this continues im afraid i'll have to stop i can't handle it

    That sounds like internet lag to me... what sort of connection do you have, and is it shared with other people?

    im plugged in through ethernet, no wireless, it is shared however, if that is the reason then theres nothing i can really do about it is there?

    Well, if other people are downloading over the connection, they may be hogging the bandwidth. The only thing you could really do is wait 'til they're not doing so... unless, of course, you're in a position where you could ask them to stop all the downloading :P

    Of course, this is all based on the assumption that I know what I'm talking about, and the greater part of it is correct...

    I have exactly the same problem when I play PW, I share my internet with my boyfriend and for the moment he is patching his PW, he haven't played since patch 70 something and the latest patch was 200 something. Our internet is slow from the start but when he is patching it is really a pain in the ****, I get the problem which BloodGodess is talking about. I just hope we don't get the same problem when he is done patching and starts playing since we want to play together.
