I need...

Technical support.
I bet you didn't think I was going to need such thing here, surprise.
Anyway, everytime I run the client it asks me to update it from version 199 to the one up to date and when I'm in game and minimize the window, it closes and a message pops-up saying "Failed to log packed files" followed by the well-known and annoying report bug window.
Thanks in advance for any kind of help.

Current version of the client is 207.
Try running Verify from the front end and see if that helps you.
Try our patching info to see if it'll help you, links below \/Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

I tried everything and still nothing. Every time I start the client it will make me update it from version 199 to the current one. Though my problems with getting crashed are gone now.
In addittion, now I can't seem to be able to put the settings on high definition permanently. For example, I log in, set them to high definition and when I log out and get back in it's on low definition again.
Thank you for the help.0 -
That is your video chipset or PC trying to tell you it can't handle the high settings, so don't do it. b:victory Try to change the Settings to the lowest first and see how the game plays.
I'm going to need some more information from you about your computer.
Find out what the model number for your PC is. Check the documentation that came with your PC, or look on the back or bottom of your PC for the model Number.
Please tell us the manufacturer's name of your system too! (Like HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc.)
Next, go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista/7), and type in dxdiag and press enter.
Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:
