How much is a good ammount to spend on this game?

With anniversary packs never leaving the cash shops (This is a supposition) and the fact that gold is now at 400-500 k a pop, this is spurring many players to simply buy gold to forgo the coin-gold exchange rate that should have gold HP charms at 2 million coins each.

With this in mind, how much should on spend on perfect world a month , in your opinion, once you reach levels:

A. 40-50

B. 60-70

C. 80-90

D. 90-100+

Please specify classes and if you don't play the class don't offer up an opinion on it. I am just curious as to how much people are spending on their classes.

As for myself:

Venomancer- 93 - has herc and nix.

total amount spent: $0

-Yours,
Dr. Bean

P.S. Prayer, determination, and lots of free time over the summer does wonders for the working man.

You do not need to spend any RL money in game at any level.

The few things you may want to get, like lots of fashion, you can easily just use in-game coins to buy a full set every week, and get it to the color you want. As long as you are willing to spend a little time grinding and merchandizing.

For the optional items like dragon orbs, you can save a few 100k here and there as you buy fashion to buy the orbs when they go on-sale. If you were to save a few 100k here and there from the begining, you would have enough coin to refine all your level 80 gear to at least +3 and weapon to at least +5, and level 90+ gear to +5 all around.

The thing is I know venomancers can do this, but at level 80+ clerics need ATLEAST one gold MP charm a week, and from the clerics I speak with they do spend over that to "grind" on Rebirths as for grinding... I've played a cleric and grinding makes you spend either time or money (not for venomancers) and merchandizing sucks up your time and is unreliable for money, plus you never know if you are holding on to a bad bet.

Consider this a sort of entertainment. How much do you spend on outside entertainment? Shopping? movies? books? junk food?

Some pple think its absurd to spend more than 100$ on a game but some of them spend more on outside entertainment which others might think their crazy. It really just boils down to, how you prio each and every one of your choices of entertainment.

Dont confuse your priority with other pples.

Nothing is free, it will cost you either money or time.

You do not need a charm as a cleric. You can do everything you need with apoc pots, event food, regular pots, and skills. I have run several TT 2-3s including wurlord and belial with tanks and clerics without charms. You just have to plan ahead and coordinate. Here how you do BB without a charm.
Use the +100 MP/sec apoc pots. Start BB, use pots as needed to slow down drainage. As MP get low, tell party you will be dropping BB to pot. Have veno send you a spark or use genie skill to get spark. Have tank use immunity apoc pot or skill to not receive damage. Drop BB, use the regain 9k MP apoc pot, and tap regular pot as well, put BB back up. There you go, now you are set until you have to repeat the cycle again (should last you at least 10-15minutes before you need to redo it). No need for charm.

@Deceptistar - You are so right. When I was younger and used to go clubbing every weekend, I would spend 200+ dollars each of those nights, including food/cab fares/drinks. And I would go Friday nights and Saturday night.. every eingle weekend, unless there was a concert somewhere, than you would end up spending the same amount anyway.

Ill say it directly back to you. No one is directly criticizing any cash shoppers. Unless you have read inbetween the lines or something the OP is asking what is an average good price to spend on PWI. I am saying the average depends on how much you prio each form of entertainment in your life.

I remember having a discussion with a friend and talking about people spending money on this game (she doesn't quite understand online games)...when she finally asked why someone would spend $20 to get pretty pixels in an online game, I asked her why she went to movies. She finally got it I think b:chuckle

That being said, I've never spent a penny on myself in this game. It's even possible for clerics to be rich...I'm too lazy to merchant though, so I remain perpetually poor b:surrender

I have not spent a penny yet on the game but I just found out that Shoppers Drugmart carries Ulimate game Cards which from what I can tell allow to use for PWI.

Now I hate walking in there seeing those cards glaring at me on their little shiny hooks wispering to me about how life would be so much easier if I just bought the card instead of grinding for coin.

b:chuckle Well it depends on how you play this game.

I spend usually 10-30 gold a month but I personally spend it on only clothes, teleacoustics, etc. I'm pretty sure you guys get the idea of what I buy.

Some people don't buy gold and they survive the game just fine, while others feel like they should buy gold. It really depends on how you play and what your going to be getting b:cute

    Whoa O_o

Hate to say it, but most squads will simply kick a cleric who tries to ask the squad to follow that set-up. The majority of clerics are charmed so squads will simply try find a better one. =/

Anyway, couldn't you just keep popping herb yuanxio's? I'm pretty sure the 500mp a second recovery rate outspeed's bubble, and if you time them right you'll end up with very little wasted. It works out a fraction the price of a charm and you'll function pretty much identical to a charmed cleric.

I've spent $200 on this game total. I mainly did so to get the Hellfire Drake when it first came out, and to get a Hellhound the last time in was in the Boutique. Most of the rest I sold to get my coin count up. I never have been able to make a lot of coin in this game. Nowadays I spend nothing, and looking back I do regret spending that $200 in this game.

I have been playing since January 2009 and havent spent a single cent. Yeah im only level 65, but thats not because i dont spend money. Its because i never get any free time xD (school etc).
Anyway, paying $300+ is stupid. Id rather get a PS3 w/ Modern Warfare 2 than a best luck token.
