The Socket stone packs come with a bonus gem pack that gives a random gem?
Do u mean like a citrine gem grade? That adds 115hp?

    b:dirtyThis would toy with the economy abit. In the sense that Gold prices will rise...but Citrine gem/ garnet / sapphire etc. etc. will drop in price drastically

    Demans ... the info stated "Gem" ... theres only 1 grade of GEM . The ones u can get from anniversary pack. UNLESS PWI has stated wrongly.

    I dunno what PWI is doing honestly -.- Now gems are like given away near freely.

    well ya...but it is pwi.....they could just mean shard and THOUGHT more ppl would understand gem, in which case there 14 grades (including the att +1 and def +1) well ill know answer to my question in a few hours

    On HT, gold is about 475k, and tokens are about 19k if you're buying (i.e. buying off a cat shop, not setting up a cat shop to buy).

    70 socket stones @ 4 gold works out to 27.1k per socket stone. If you get the best prize from the gem pack - a flawless citrine - that only adds about 250k in value, dropping the per-socket stone price to 23.6k.

    19k tokens works out to 20.9k per socket stone.

    So you're better off buying tokens and converting them to socket stones than buying them via the sale. Unless they surprise us and remove the anniversary packs with this patch.

    It's a complete waste of money, including the socket stone part.

    Socket stones can be made using tokens for about 65% of the cost of these "sale" stones (on Sanctuary at least). You have to be an idiot to buy these.

    Remove anniversary packs? I thought they where superhardcoded in an impossible to undo way so that they would be in the cashshop forever and ever.

    lol removing anni pack, i can only wishb:pleased probably to much income comming from them to do that, even if they do prices wont go down again (gold that is) because everybody will expect them to be back in a day or two like last time.
