Hi everyone, I am new to being a Wizard,so I need a heads up on what I will be facing at a higher level.

Also I need a little help on my skills, I'm not sure if I have my skills right, or wrong, or alright for what level I am right now.
(Keys) Pink=Skill level 1, Yellow= Skill level 2, Brown= Skill level 3, Purple= Skill level 4, Green= Skill level 5.
Okay, lets start!
Divine Pyrogram, Hailstorm, Pitfall, Crown of Flame.
Glacial Embrace.
Pyroshell, Stone Barrier.
Gush, Stone Rain.
Pyrogram
Well, that was all my skills. But I am curious, I am very weak and I need to get alot of buffs to level up, will I have to always get buffs from everyone, annoying the heck out of them every time I want to try to level?
Also, what skills should I get for when I am a higher level? b:surrender
Please help, any type of information on Wizards would really be helpful, thank you! b:byeb:thanks
P.S. One more quick question, what build should I have? Also, what does "FB" stand for? And what does "FB" Do to you? I know you get it every end level, but can you tell what they give you? (Right now I am on a Magic build)

    Playing a wizard lv. 1-70 is VERY hard. You have to deal with it, or change character.
    First. You have to maximize your basic 3 skills. pyro, gush first and then stone. Also maximize your stone barrier and glacial Embrace.
    And also I recommend go with LA armor. So light armor and no arcane armor. It mean put some points to dexterity too to wearing light armor. It helps a lot. After lv. 80+ you can restat points and became pure mage. At higher level you get phoenix which is very useful.

    Because they are fast channeling spells and also quite powerful. Gush slower down mob, what is very important. And pyro is fast channeling. So you can start with divine pyro, then gush and then normal pyro. Another reason is, that the higher level of basic skills has higher range. So you can attack from bigger distance from mob. Last reason is lower mana consumption.

    Its really hard to **** up low level skills. You can always get enough spirit for your skills later on to max every single one. You can probably get the general idea of which skills to max here: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=1114851&postcount=2

    You will need all skills by the time. In higher levels you will have all skills lv 10 maybe except emberstorm. Also read some guides, hot to play mage. There is lot of topics at this forum.
    And your skills are good don't worry. b:laugh You will have all skills later anyway.

    I had very hard starting. I was killed in two 2-3 hits at beginning. I think is much harder, than veno or barb example.b:pleased And I don't telling about when I took agro from 2 mobs at same time. I had to run away always.b:laugh

    Your skill are pritty decent lvled.

    Don't touch crown of flame and pitfal for a long time, lvl glacial embrace and lay low on the pyro shell. Stone shield is good, lvl that if you have time or feel you get hit to much by physical attacks.
    For mobs purposes, Divine Pyrogram is a good skill to start with, as it deals alot more dmg than your first 3 spels.
    During the fight it is not good to use, cause of it's long channel. But if you start an attack on a mob (so the mob is not yet attacking you), you have the time to channel Divine pyrogram and start the fight with already a lot of dmg done. Skils like this are called nukes btw b:victory


    FB stand for fuben (I think), which is chinees for dungeon. So an FB basicly is a dungeon (instance), where you fight a mob (you do your call of duty quests in FB's, basicly FB19 is the call of duty quest you get at lvl 19, FB29 the one at lvl 29, ect)

    Of course but I didn't know what squad is.b:laugh In squad is very easy. I did everything alone. Even FB 19 I did at level 33+ if I remember correctly. Because I didn't know anything about game. But it was 10 months ago.b:chuckle I didn't know about forum anything also so I made lot of mistakes and bad steps.

    but you said it was very easy.....and you are lvl 74 so how are you dying that fast to magic mobs o.o

    when we say it was hard, we mean it was difficult to do and very frustrating...

    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    thats right~! dying fast doesn't mean it's "difficult"
    me simply stop them from hitting me 1-3 times lol.

    FoW/WoP/Distance shrink are all me need to not get hit. b:chuckle (when me am alone)
    usually me just squad up and have others take the hits for me.

    if at lvl 75 when you're going 1v1 on mobs u get hit, better quit and roll a BM/BARB/Veno.
