Slam OR Surf Impact

    i got both. my aoe combo:

    roar -> frighten -> humanoid -> spark -> swell -> slam

    there will be times that slam is inappropriate to use (mobs that use only magic attacks after you slam them -> dead barb)

    there will be times that swell is pointless (mobs not all in front of you)

    they both have their uses and drawbacks

    Personally I grind in Tiger. Surf Impact is awesome for me when combined with Sunder, Frighten and Roar (for Chi building.)

    Slam has it's uses, but I don't like the whole Scattering of mobs thing.

    imo surf impact is not that good like slam or armageddon because the damage is much lower. With AoE Attack the target is to deal as much damage as possible to the mobs around and that's impossible with surf impact.
    Maxing slam is the best you can do. Dont forget to switch back to true form then to hold the aggro / being alive ^^

    At your level, most mobs are physical so I would suggest get slam. Then as you level, get surf impact. However, if you spend a lot of time as tiger, I would suggest getting surf impact. Don't need to go crazy and max it, but try and get a few levels in of both.

    Surf Impact is an awesome chi builder for a start, its our only tigerform aoe that is spammable and does damage (I wouldn't consider sunder as spammable), it is great for those pesky ranger mobs that want to hit you and run (slowing effect).

    Slam is an awesome skill to use against pure physical mobs, but if you use it against casters , you're asking for trouble.
