Newcomer Questions

AHHHH well the most popular build would be arcane which is basically hybrid build gicing you the ability to supposedly pve and pvp. But the most asked build would be a full support cleric, meaning you have stronger heals and buffs but not so great in pve. Then theres the full attack cleric which I dont reccomend considering you're looking for a healer position in a squad.

Nothing else to say. Even if i must remind that on a lvl 70 ideal cleric, LA heals 84% of pure mag and 94% of hybrid build. So don't ever think u heal so much less (since 90% of clerics are hybrid, dont worry about lack of healing power if u go LA, cause it is a metropolitan leged made from those mean ppl that never tried LA and that wants to make it appear a fail build). I dont suggest to go LA before lvl 60-70 anyways b:chuckle until 60 hybrid is the best way at all.

VIT 2 (cap at 50, then pure MAG)

Just try what you like. You know enough about each build, so pick which one seems more appealing, and go with it.

Go farm and save up for your m def shards with LA armour atleast I think that would be the appropriate shards.

In case you choose to go LA, shard all with citrines. Magical resistances are still good, generally are about 10% lower than arcane (often less), what you need is higher HP, since you have no points left for VIT.

And remember, plume shell doesn't last forever. You can't rely only on that to survive... And even when you pop it up you fell much difference with LA, on both lesser damages but more important on less MP burned throught it.


PS, edit. If you don't wanna spend much money, LA is better than AA, imo. You need very less refined / highly sharded gears to do well. Wwearing a crappy LA you will still be good, with a crappy AA you will be a dead zero.

I do it more often than much arcane clerics. The secret? Better weapon. the difference that increased MAG gives to your m.atk and the difference that your m.atk makes on damage you deal can be covered with a better weapon or also with some more refines... b:victory
