CS Map and Expansion question

Was just curious, those of us that have previously purchased a map from cs, will we get the waypoints from the expansion automatically added or do we have to buy another map?

    I'd think simply flying to the teleport masters on your own is the best way.

    I know thats an option, but Im curious for those of us that have had maps for a while now, will they be updated for us.

    Most likely won't get them added automatically. Didn't think anyone actually bought those.

    Well, most probably don't buy them outright, but you do get them in the Beginner packs, which seem to be a very popular purchase for lowbies.

    short answer: no

    don't see how that's so hard to say for half these people

    reason the answer is no:

    the geographical map, when used, gives you a auto-completing chain-quest. each teleport waypoint is tied into its own quest in that chain. you'll notice that once you have all the waypoints, the quest finishes itself and disappears. congrats: the geomap is used

    just because they adding new tele waypoints, doesn't mean that the quest will magically reappear and hand-feed your laziness b:laugh

    pretty sure no amount of QQ to the support staff will fix it either, since it doesn't make them any money b:chuckle

    actually this brings up another question. would wq be made longer to incorporate the expanded land? lol... good thing i don't do wq anymore.

    How is a simple question intrepreted as QQing? Just because a player has a map doesn't make them lazy.

    yup, you're a newbie here. i'll give you a short explanation:

    first of all, your two statements are in reverse order. the reason i said they are lazy is not in reference to the map. the reason i said they are lazy is because they "expect" the new waypoints to be handed to them on a silver platter.

    the geomap is 5g for obtaining all the current waypoints. nowhere on the item description does it say they owe you all future waypoints as well. the fact that he would even bring this whole thing up shows that he's too lazy to just fly on down there and grab the waypoints right quick

    second portion. i anticipate the person's future actions. once he realizes the new waypoints won't be automatically added, he'll start QQing to support about how he's owed them because he bought the geomap. however, since they aren't going to just give it to him for free, his QQ will be in vain

    Oh my god, are you serious? They never said 'they should give the new waypoints to those who bought the map'. They asked if they WOULD. Simple inquiry. How nasty do you have to be to get your point across to people who actually care what you have to say with that attitude? Honestly. You have to **** people off just to get them to listen to you. b:lipcurl

    and you can just gather mats on the way or something.

    Would it really be that hard to visit the teleport masters in each new town? I mean, they're adding ONE new race and an area to support them. All of your quests from level 1 to 19, for any of the current races, are obtained from your starting city and one of three smaller towns around it. Then, at level 20, you're off to Archosaur to get quests. Why would the Tideborn be different than that?

    Without questions, there are never answers. The world functions because we have questions. Its just the answers we don't always have. Either way, noone should ever be told that asking a question is wrong in any way, because its not, and there's no such thing as a stupid question. (Yes, even ones that people ask just to BE stupid. Its not the question that's stupid, but the idiot 'asking' it.)
