Help! Squad Item Distribution!!!!

so you noe how when you get a squad request thres the info rite? it says who invited u, their class and also, the ITEM DISTRIBUTION. everytime im in a squad, the item distribution always says "random". how can i change it to something else because sumtimes, when i help a noob player out, they take my drops that i desperatly need that they dont! eg. rough fur. its embarrasing and fustrating to constantly ask fr them to trade u the item bac to u, sois thre a way to modify the item distribuition in a squad? any help would be appreciated b:pleased

    Press T when you go to create a squad, and check the free option on the bottom right.

    Only the squad leader can change it. Go to the Squad screen by pressing T, and set it to "Free". This means that whoever picks it up off the ground gets it.

    I was certain you could only do that before making a squad?

    or, for the OP, you can just ask them to drop the item on the floor so you can pick it up instead of trading. As long as you dont leave it unpicked for long, it will go in your inventory.
