So, I was sitting there in game, waiting for my daily timer to run out, staring at my character, and it occurred to me... How old are our characters supposed to be? I know this is rather pointless and the thread will probably be locked or moved to the Lower Depths, but it's something I've thought about a couple times before now.

I would estimate that the character age is supposed to be around 20-24 years old... What do you guys think? b:pleased

    Mine looks around 18 and one of my bro's looks around 40 i think XD

    Ohh wow! I've never really thought of that. Well, I modeled my character to look generally like an older version of me. I'd say that he's about 35 years old.

    True, it depends on how old you make your character look.

    My BM has a very thin, tiny frame, minimum chest size, rather rounded face with big, innocent eyes. She's 16.

    My Veno and Cleric are both tall, thin, but still have fairly large chests and a rather curved frame. They're in their 20s.

    My archer is tall, thin, high cheekbones, medium chest, calm-looking eyes. She's in her low 30s.

    I once saw someone with a character that looked almost 12. O.O

    heh, they can look whatever you want them to look like. my husband made his to look like himself, with a beard added.

    i have an banker alt who is very old and blind, (built off the evil looking wiz head)...i liked the idea of him being disabled but his magic able to compensate for it.

    with my own main, i aim for a stately, elegant look, like a queen.

    my clerics i want to look angelic and pure.

    My wizard is over 1 year and 1 month old and retired. My veno is coming to the end of her prime at the age of 8 months old. My youngest character is my archer on Sanctuary, who's only about a week old. b:victory

    I'd say my cleric and wiz are somewhere around 21-25. My archer looks like shes around that age too. I do have to say that some look really old, especially some wizards I've seen running around. I agree though that it really depends how you design them.

    I've actually had this conversation with my guild leader and she and I agreed that all of our characters were around 21-25 but no more than 26 at the most.

    Since you can't change the look of a Barb's fur you can hid their age lol

    thats one thing i love about this game, the customization
    ive seen chars that look 65 and some that look 16

    to me, the lion barbs look the oldest, while the panda looks maybe youngest?
    tiger and wolf are like in between

    I think both the characters I have look between 20 and 30. A lot of people I see in the newbie areas always seem to have kid features of about 15-16... kinda funneh. XD

    Pssst I heared elfen women always look younger than they actually are... which is why they never tell their true age b:chuckle


    As for my BM I always thought her around 30 plus/minus a bit. It takes time to build up these muscles at her back and her arms hehe. However it is also a fact that bathing in the sun a lot makes your skin look older, and Cerva is really tanned all the time... so I can not be sure about her age in the end.

    tbo I am very glad this is not the case.
    For number one it always leads to girl characters beeing made smaller and smaller, just like some kind of weird competition, and one day you end up beeing the tallest and ppl finger point at you b:beg
    And for number two I see serious problems with oversized or especially small character looks when riding a mount or holding a weapon.
