    • How does the red name timer work?

    I usually only kill about one person per day, and some days I am pink for 30 seconds and some days I am red for 2 hours? I'm just wondering how all this timing stuff works. I already looked for threads about it but couldn't find any, I apologize if there already is one!

      The more people you kill the longer your named stays a color and as you kill more people it darkens till blood red b:victory

      Its a little more detailed than that.

      If you kill a pink or darker red colour you are pink for 30 seconds I believe.

      If you kill a white named player you are pinkish for 2 hours auto. The more kills you accumulate by killing whute named players you get darker red.

      You also have a higher % of dropping items when killed by a player when you are shades of red.

      To add to it: if you are Red or have PK hours you can shorten the amount of time you are red by grinding on mobs that are equal or higher lvl then you. From my experience for every 1 hour you grind you burn off 4-5 hrs of PK time.

      Rebirth helps you burn off your red name really quickly.

      kill? but i have been fighting a lot, and i havent killed anyone yet,

      how do you kill people?

      reach level 30 then turn off your protection, find some other white named, attack them. they die...or you die..

      you be in a PvE server so you has to turn off your blue named.

      you gain 2 hours per kill. 1-5 hours = light red, 6-20 hours = darker red, 21+ = full red.

      in order to gain red hours you have to attack the person first, and they must have a lower infamous status than you. if they hit you first, or are higher infamous(shade of red), you gain no hours. each shade of red equals higher chance to drop more items. dolls = savior, never pk without them.

      losing hours is done by waiting while online, killing mobs(a lot), and dying(a lot).

      Haha your only 38 ive got a 66 barb 45 wizz and 62 cleric im gonna come find u in lost city and pk u then u wont pk 1 person per day! b:angry
