Barbian True Form Suggestion: Use already created models.

There has already been several discussions and posts about how people want new true forms to match their actual character. A wolf turning into a wolf, a lion turning into a lion. Makes sense right? Well everybodys been asking for new forms, well here's how I think we might be able to get them.

I dont know if this has already been suggested ... But if the programmers of PWI do not feel they have the time or resources to make brand new models for the "TRUE forms" for the wolf, panda, and lion. Why not just use models that have already been created? Just re-skin them... It's the cheap and easy way out.... and it may make people happy.

For example a barbian lion's true form could use the same model as the gold mane lion. And to keep in theme with the white tiger... it could be reskinned into looking like a white lion.

The panda's true form could use the the bad panda mount model, minus the saddle and also recolor the model so that the panda would be pure white. Doing this would help get around the Chinese law that bans killing/harming pandas in video games. So it'll just look like a polar bear, they can't complain about that...

The wolf's true form could use the already created model of the Frost Wolf ground mount from Jade Dynasty (PWI's sister MMORPG).

Just remove the saddle and it should be just fine. Plus it's already white. :D

Apparently reskinning and implementing models from other games owned by PWE isn't too hard to do. Take a look at some of these reskinned mounts from PWI put into Jade Dynasty. The examples I'm showing here are the reskinned Ancient Boa and Scarlet Ninetails mount from PWI.

If they can take models from PWI and put them into JD, why not the other way around?

Images were taken from the Jade Dynasty Wiki ground mount section.

I would also like to make it clear both Jade Dynasty and Perfect World International are owned by the same company, Perfect World Entertainment Inc.

    I'm sorry. I checked to make sure that the links actually worked several times, and they did. I'll try and see if I can fix them. In the mean time if you really want to see the images go to the Jade Dynasty website and go to their wiki-site and find the ground mounts section.

    All the images I linked are there.

    Uh, the links dont work. Maybe cause im on firefox? I dont know but they dont work thus for arnt going to be used as a viable visual source.

    Not to mention they'd be ripping jade dynasty's models it looks and thats against da laws b:bye

    It's pretty hard to sue people over legends and myths, but they are also owned by the same company. However I am also using firefox, so that may indeed be the problem. Ugh...I hate internet explorer.

    That may be it. It would make sense since I use internet explorer rather than Firefox...

    Oh and the whole reason I suggested using a model from Jade Dynasty in the first place was because Jade Dynasty specifically uses a reskinned version of the Ancient Boa and Ninetailed Fox mount from Perfect World. All they did was changed the color scheme of the Boa, and made the Ninetailed Fox red and appeared to give it some gold markings on its legs and forehead.

    Actually, I was going to originally post this in the other thread by Reggaen about the Animal Forms, but it would have ended up on page 12 or 13. To be honest I don't think most people are going to sit there and read all of the pages of that thread... Unless they're super hardcore.b:victory

    I myself read maybe the first six pages of the massive thread and a few of the last pages.

    And as it seems that thread is constantly growing, and I didn't want my suggestion to just be lost among all the other comments....
