I think it is time to submit a petition to PWI, time to change the stormage eagleon DOT skill to non DOT one. Its supposed to be one of our ulti's and its utter useless. Wiz got so many OP ultis, we deserve this being a DD class.

    but lol me think the Stormage eagleon be the archer analogue to wizards mountain seize. instead of stun you get a 30 second long slow?? also from what ecatomb says (or doesn't say) there be no % of slow so it seems to be 100% chance to slow. (O.o)'

    I got a frost arrow for slow. And Ulti is supposed to deal huge dmg. Not tickle ppl.

    Although they have to reduce the damage a bit. Can you imagine a skill that deals base damage and 12000 critting almost everytime?!*shivers*b:shocked
    Add the other 3 lightning spells to it and THUNDERSTORM. Barbs will be wiped out the face of the planet every time.

    Umm... no?

    Stormrage is one of those skills that I have, but rarely find a use for. That decision is largely based on the excessive cost of 2 parks and 265 mana- and thats just at level 1. If I used those two sparks elsewhere, I can ALMOST guarantee you'll do more damage than wasting them on this skill.

    Don't get me wrong- this skill has practical applications, but... just not very many of them to make it worth fussing over.

    Voted YES. :D Who wouldnt want another damaging skill in the skill list :P

    However I doubt it will ever be changed.

    For it to be non DOT, would have to lower its dmg, otherwise archers would just go around 1-shotting everyone. As much as that sounds sweet to the class itself, it would completely ruin balance.

    What would be nice is if it bypassed all def (or mag res...not exactly sure which type of skill this is) to make full DOT dmg without any reduction whatsoever. That would certainly make it worth the hassle and it wouldnt be overpowered. I mean, its no nix flesh ream...

    More like we totally already have a bunch of skills that are kinda useless. All the DoTs we have are useless, not to mention that we have things like Wings of Protection with it's half-assed evasion buff, along with the lvl 79 Blessing of Condor to save our butts. But yeah, who the heck trusts in freaking evasion against a character that can easily one shot you quite a few times over with a single attack?

    Not to mention that Winged Shell gets pretty useless on higher levels. Right now, it lasts about 2-3 normal shots and 1-2 from a Sacrificial Assault or Increased Magic Attack or Increased Attack mob.

    And hey, what about the metal skills and their freakishly low damage? The only time I actually used them was lower levels and when I was using my TT60 crossbow.

    Also, Knockback Arrow. Really, the only reason anyone would put more points into that is the Sage/Demon adds for the sake of completeness or because they made a mistake.

    What about Deadly Shot? It gets trumped by lvl 10 Take Aim on higher levels. Kinda sucks, since Deadly Shot is a lvl 49 skill and Take Aim is a lvl 1 skill.

    Also, just because I'm on a roll, what about the fact that almost all the skills have an integer bonus instead of a percentage? That makes all of them progressively weaker and therefore more useless. And that's exactly why archers use normal attacks in PvE. Though yeah, if they were percentages, it might get kinda imbalanced.

    thats all classes lol. you really think wizards use crown of fire/pitfall/regular pyro(except for fun lol)/hailstorm/emberstorm(unless you want to die lol. as far as me can tell apparently noone in PWI does but some in the malaysian server does? O.o')

    i declare blessing of the condor to be bs, because people with their +50% rings these days still hit me with the buff on. it doesn't even affect Asterelle, who has 7k accuracy even tho with the blessing on my evasion goes to about 25k.

    Stormrage definitely needs improvements...even if it becomes non-DoT, it was never an AOE to begin with. what is your point Waffles? because we have a decent 59 skill we also have to a suck one?

    every other 59 offensive skill is worth leveling, while we have a 2 spark single target DoT, it's terribad in every way possible. barbs' bleed 2spark skill is AOE, but it has a higher initial strike due to it dealing an additional 200% weapon damage at lvl 10. (oh did i mention it heals for 4.8k??) even barb's 1 spark DoT has a 200% weapon damage addon, veno's 1 spark chance DoT has a 100% weapon damage addon and a fixed addon in addition to the DoT damage, bms 1 spark DoT does base + addon + DoT and affects a line. the key here is the fact that it costs sparks. sure, every class tree has something worthless, but this is the most terrible spell even among spark DoTs that you can cast. at least give us a base + x00% weapon damage + DoT or something. don't leave us with base + DoT b:sweat

    my suggestion (if not some weapon damage to the initial hit) is for the skill to deal some good status effects that's worth the 2 sparks just because another metal nuke would be repetitive. make it stun for 1s every tick, make its slow more intense, make it deal ticks proportional to base damage, or make it silence etcetc

    barrage is not useful in 1v1 fights. even in tw, you can't maintain a high lvl barrage for long due to mana costs and due to someone violating you with disables within 10s of opening zhen. it really doesn't outshine other 2 spark ultimates much, and certainly doesn't justify having the worst sparked DoT in the game

    you're not going to realistically use barrage in 1v1 fights, and so i want stormrage to be decent and useable in such situations.

    to me the bottom line of this skill is it requires 2 sparks and sucks, and costs a ton to level up, maybe once i have demon everything else i'll level this skill. As for now i'm a normal attack archer for the most part, although i have found it the reverse of what most people are saying, at low lvl's i never used skills, as i'm getting to the higher lvl's i'm using more skills. never really touched knockback until about lvl 86. and any demon archer should get at least a good set of annihilator of souls, demon spark with souls on i'm able to snatch aggro from most same lvl barbs.

    Wait what... you are telling people to get a pair of fists to steal aggro from a Barb their level? Why?

    stealing aggro from barbs is the ultimate test of adulthood for an archer. if you can't do it when called upon to, then you are still a baby b:chuckle

    I haven't read all of this but... we have plenty of non-DoT skills already, and I certainly don't want one that costs 2 sparks.

    I'll vote for the third option, don't learn stormrage at all b:bye

    Pking Noobs = Raging Noobs = Noobs get high level ( Also feeling sorry that level 30's getting pked by 80s+ = Them same Noobs that was being pked and now is a higher level Thurst bang them same high levels that were pking them = Hurting the Clans that pk low level noobs because in the long run them same noobs might would of want to join your faction but now they think otherwise and go to another faction.

    Like me What does DOT and Non-DOT Mean.
    Pretty sure anyone at a high enough level to have enough experience in-game to have formed a good opinion on this would know what we're talking about.

    DoT = Damage over Time (skills that deal X damage over Y amount of time)
    Non-DoT, claerly then, means non-damage over time. (skills that deal X damage immediately)

    If you are referring to the fox 59 move, it gets hella annoying in a duel XD i beat some friends by mp burin/chi burn them XD

    Guess its time to answer somethings ....

    @huge dmg: Check out the dmg for some of the wiz's ulti's then talk abt this skill's dmg

    @2 spark : Its a ulti 2 spark is must, else u will spam is like hell.

    @being pain to lvl : Ulti duh!!

    @being lighting attack : one thing to make sure its not complete OP skill.

    @barrage : barrage does a lot of dmg but think abt the mana cost. it think it is justified.

    @devoted : i know pw wont change a thing, but still we should try. " Knock and the door will be opened to you ".

    Sry to noobs, I should have xplained it further. Neways have a look at wiz's skill tree @ ecatomb (esp. BT, ice drgn, Mountain seige). If am right wiz and archers are supposed to DD classes, not wiz's alone.
