Level 50 stash worth it?

Quick question, is buying a perfect iron hammer really worth it to get a weapon that will last me 50-60, or should I just stick it out til lvl 60 with another crafted weapon with at least 1 socket?

    Well, with current gold prices... not so much. It was kind of nice because before you got all the items up to supply stash 80, which included a flawless gem which almost covered the cost of the hammer... but now... it's not really worth it. I'd just look in AH and find a decent weapon and use that till 60.

    I think no. When I get it, the price of gold was ~130k so it worth it. But now. I wouldn't buy hammer in these day for sure.b:sad

    Well some guildies also told me to stick it out til 6x so,I guess ill just have to use a regular craft weapon b:sad

    Yeah, it's a bit hard on the wallet with the current gold prices...but if you manage to find a perf. hammer for under 1m, grab it - Even though it lasts only 10 levels, I can see how it could still be of use during low level fb's - when you need to limit your dmg so you don't pull aggro everywhere :s.

    I opened my 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and 80 chests all at once.
    Quite a bit of useless stuff I couldn't use. Still have the quest for the weapon in the post box I think.

    if u open the box at 50, and u don't have the Wheel of Fate, yeah, it's worth it.
    Someone was selling hammers at 1.5 mil in Archos a few days back. That's a good deal now.

    At lvl 48 you get a quest reward weapon, some boss near twilight temple... I used that till I was 60, did pretty good.

    That's what I used until 60, when I got my TT weapon. It's really more than enough (and now the stash is rotting away in a corner of my bank, waiting for goldprices to get a little bit normal again)

    That was me... and was spammed in wc/whispers saying i'm stupid and no one would by it for that much.

    Actually i was debating on using of the TWO weapons that i got at 48 form those boss quests (Jewel and Viriddis). I think i'll just use of them then since it worked for someone else.

    I have an ok 44 dharma sword tho, i just need an avg shard to make the 48 better b:pleased Thanks to all the replies.

    Yes it is i recently bougth 2 hammers for 1.4mill and 1.35mill and (considering the actual pirce is 2.5mill each) i guess i made a nice choice the wep is simply great and later i sold one of the mammers for 1.8mill wich gaved me 400k of total profit b:victory you just need to find someone ho sells u a hammer for reasonable prices.

    Well seeing as how you don't really get many deals on LostCity that won't be possible. Only hammer i saw being sold was for 2.5m and someone whispered me selling one for 1.9m.

    I don't think it's worth getting the stash weapon now and I'm glad I didn't get it because the 50's are going by so fast that it would've been a waste to get the hammer in the first place. BH/CS/Fb's are covering most of my exp.

    Also, if i had bought a hammer I can't sell that weapon so there's no resell value for that weapon, incase i ever needed that money back for citrines or whatnot.
