Demon or Sage for bm

okay, im a bm coming up in the ranks of leveling and, i truly enjoy PVP and TW's.
im needing to know what do people think i should do and why...sage skills for pvp and tw are ultimately great yet on the other hand the demon spark would be intense for the GX's at 90..so, if people can give me advice to help upon this decision would be highly appreciative b:thanks

    I am going Sage for several reasons.

    1. You get more chi (Which BM's are pretty damn dependant on whether it be PvP or PvE)

    2. I think it has much better survivability. Chances to gain more HP through sutra, extra defence with Bell (Albeit Hell Bell can be spammed for a larger bonus), The 3-spark increases your def, etc.

    3. Many of your good skills have a chance to be cast for less chi (1 spark less) making for some really amazing combos if you get lucky.

    That's my opinion.

    I went demon.
    For my play style, i found more useful skill bonuses in demon then in sage. Sutra, marrows and my dmging skills. But it's harder to find demon books for BMs then sage ones. And demon books cost much more coins.

    well...i admit the sage spark is good and the skills aswell but..don't you think the damage..and increase attack rate with gold TT90 axes? be beter with demon spark, i mean im still about 3 weeks away from 90...but im having a hard time deciding...but i geuss im leaning towards sage so far

    Reality is, you won't be using sparks in PvP, unless you wanna waste them. I went Demon, after pondering over it a long time. This is why I chose Demon over Sage:

    1) Longer and more secure stuns, longer because of Drake's Bash and more secure because of Roar of the Pride, that never misses and has less cooldown.

    2) Marrows, balances your defenses better after using one.

    3) The extra Fire damage in Sage that skills like Fissure and Heaven's Flame give doesn't seem worthy to me. Demon Heaven's Flame is far superior in all aspects for self's use or teamwork, such as PvP, mass PvP, Territory War and PvE.

    4) I don't really see how having a chance of getting extra Chi is going to help you kill faster and better in PvP, Sage seems too much based on luck for my taste and if you're short on Chi there's always pots to fix that.

    5) Demon Spark is more usefull in PvE than Sage's, unless you want to be a wanna-be Werebeast, which seems to happen to a lot of Warriors. With a combo I made with Demon Spark I can hit 100K-200K overall damage to mobs and bosses (Except for HH ones and alike) without even having Calloused Lionheart Hatchets yet. With that I guess my damage could go as high as 500K in 10 seconds.

    Yeah, like post above said, rarely is someone going to sit there and tank your hell spark. The 300 chi would be better used to lock them for a minute b:laugh. I'm going demon I think, since the skills for pole are pretty nice.

    Depends on what weapon you are using

    Poleblade and Fist = Demon, no comments
    Sword = didnt read sword skills

    Axes is the hardest choice. Demon stuns are generally better but sage chi means using the stuns more. Very difficult choice but most axe BMs go sage.
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze
