    I do believe it would be a nice courtesy to have a reminder that servers are going to shut down about an hour before hand. With 15 minute increments up 15 minutes prior followed by 5 increment warnings till you hit 5 minutes followed by the 120 second warning. And a generic countdown by 30 seconds thereafter.

    I knew the servers were going to shut down, but I while playing it managed to slip my mind.

    We received a 120 second warning about the maintenance. Sorry to call you out, but before the new GM took over there was ample warning time given every time before maintenance. It would be nice to see that again.

    Then they have been here long enough to know what part of the week server maintenance usually is and to check the forums around that time to see if it has been moved or if it is on schedule.

    My god there are a lot of people complaining about losing items because of the maint. when its obivious they have noone to blame but themselves.

    Why would anyone schedule an event (FB Run, Rebirth) within a 12 hour period of the general scheduling.

    As Sait mentioned, if you are desperate to do your run then best to check the forums or website. Or even try to get a hold of a GM and ask.

    A lot of people like you do not use the forums because of less than helpful, self righteous fools like the people who posted on this thread. That being said it would be very smart to have system messages a day or so before the shut down and maybe even send e mails to everyone regarding server maintenance times so that all the pwi community (90% of it) whom does not use the forums can know.

    Also if you can't read what he said I would have to question your reading abilities. There is no reason to call out people's spelling/english abilities.

    People were able to read what he said. That wasn't the point, although his writing is what I would expect of someone in say, 4th grade. The point though is that information is available to people if they bother to take the time to get it.

    Their failure to bother themselves for a couple minutes out of their day to see if there is anything they should be aware of or may want to know, is not PWI's fault (like the OP makes it sound like it is), but their own fault.

    I have no sympathy for someone that doesn't at least make even the remotest effort to find out information, and then when their lack of initiative bites them in the **** they come to the very forums where that information is located at, and scream bloody murder and omg pwi suxxorz and wai didn't you tell me! wahh wahhh you are supposed to hold my hand so I don't have to think for myself wahh wahh.

    So be nice? No. Not gonna happen. If the OP doesn't like it, he can get off his sorry **** and start looking on the forums for announcements. That is what those announcements are here for.

    If he can't be assed to do it, and wants to scream and cry about it instead, well... then I will be happy to continue 'not being nice' to him. Or anyone else for that matter.

    You have a brain. Think for yourself. Learn to use the tools at your disposal. Don't EXPECT someone to hold your hand and lead you around because you can't be assed to do it for yourself.     Spoons replied in a thread stating that using existing accounts was fine. But that anyone caught creating new accounts and exploiting the bug was looking at disciplinary action.

    This was not a "search forums, n00b" issue. This was a "refusing to ever check the PWI site for normally scheduled patch days and times" problem.

    It has been chewed, at length, on the subject of "why dont we get a earlier warning in game". If they wanted to address that, they would have by now.

    The OP's main problem is (other that inability to speak like an adult) is;

    How in the %@#! did he get to lvl 100 in this game without learning to check the %$@*&^ website on Tues and Wed, to see if there was a patch/server reset coming?

    And if he's indeed that stupid, why should I do anything but giggle?
