Okay so some people don't know how many oracles it takes and such to level. Well I've put together this guide for personal use but many people have asked for me to post it. So here it is ult. guide 30-80 via oracles...
If you dont understand it then please alt+F4 and never re-open this window...
Edit: Oracle 1 and 2 Targets are reversed... Spider King is Oracle 1 not Oracle 2 and visa-versa, will fix later... till then just know...
Note this is not best way to level just one way to level via oracles...

Unfortunately, that isnt nearly enough spirit to collect your skills.
And really, if you wanted things to be that easy, there is another place you can go that gives everything to you in PW on a platinum platter....
Good guide tho. I wonder how many people are willing to do this in order to powerlevel, and then look like total and complete noobs when they run into Rebirth, TT, FC, LG or PvP....
Good job...I guess?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Instances can always be learned after you power level. And no, I never used one oracle. I just don't think people are automatically noobs when they chose to use oracles to level. If they have the funds, go for it.0 -
you got oracle 1 and 2 backwards >_> spider king is oracle 1

Agreed by your arguments if they managed to buy the oracles using in game money then they are more then experienced enough.
b:chuckle
Also if they used cash to buy those oracles then can afford all those oracles in the first place then they could surely afford TT/mold gear and probably scarlet fruits or something to make up for the lack of spirit.
xD

um... nice guide? (O.o) seems very expensive. Me has only used 2 oracles ever and those were oracles me has gotten my self as drops lol.

Sadly true. Let's face it, PvE in this game isn't exactly rocket science ^^0 -
Anyone who needs a guide to oracling is definately not gonna figure out GV b:laugh0

Thank you for pointing that out, Ill fix it at a later date.0 -
Agreed that eventually PvE will be learned.
I guess I just play this game for the fun part of leveling, questing, and learning the instances? Call me an old timer I spose. b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
nice guide, now what do i do from lvl 80 to 95? i want to wear my lunar, holy helm, boot and stuff0

Waste of a lot of tokens and lose a lot of potential coin here by not using the oracles effectively.
Oracles 1 til you're 35 simply because you have no choice.
Then oracle 2 til 65.
After that, use Oracle 8s til whenever.
Aside from that, nice job.0 -

Actually you loose money using your method...
Using your method:
Oracle 2 from 35 - 65 is 3570 tokens..
65 - 80 is 7695 tokens....
In total... 11265 Tokens...
My way.... 5.7K tokens and about 300 oracles faster...0 -
do i scarlet fruit from lvl 15 to 30 first? or is there faster way0

Also, from 65, you'd be using oracle 8s. Not 2s.0 -
Nice number crunching ... however there is a major problem that the OP did not work into his guide: The conversion of all your oracles into all the things mentioned. Not only that it would take ages (and became very boring) to kill all the mobs, the problem is that you are most likely not the only one who is after the oracle mobs. So when you know that only Oracle II, III, VIII and IX have more than one target at a time availiable, of which VIII has 2 of them on a tiny island in the middle of towerlings and IX only on got several at a time at nightscream with a terrible respawn rate ... you will soon figure that wicked pirates or mystical wolfkin are the only ones that you can chase after over a longer period of time. But only when you don't play at a daytime where 7 other ppl got the same idea. Also hardcore oracling creates a row of waiting ppl as more and more spots become taken for hours. You should rly take your time to watch them ks and insult each other it's fun hehe...

Too lazy to edit my post so I'll double post.
35->65 on oracle 2s is about 548 oracles (rounded up). Since 5 tokens gets you two of them, that means 1370 tokens as opposed to the 1451 your current chart would cost to get there, with only a slight coin loss (about 100k) that is easily made up for in the amount of tokens saved.
Levels 65->80 on oracle 8s would be about 882 oracles (again, rounded up). Again, 9 tokens = 2 oracles, so you'd need 3969 tokens as opposed to your current need of 4137. This time, you'd also GAIN more coin versus your current method (about 2k coin gain which is still a gain).
Total tokens saved using my method: 249. (which, assuming tokens are bought for 15k each is a savings of 3,735,000)
Total exp gained: Same as your method since we're only aiming for equivalence in terms of levels and not assuming we use the same amount of tokens with our funds.
Total spirit gained: Same as above.
Total coin loss not counting tokens: 113,012
Total coin gain when counting tokens used to obtain results: 3,621,988
tl;dr version: My original point stands. You did a good job on the chart but used the oracles inefficiently. Better use would have caused better results.
Edit: Thank you for posting before I finished getting the numbers for this down, Cervantia. Now it' not a double post. b:cute0 -
I think the biggest problem here is the assumption that you can actually skill all those mobs at the required level. Definitely not going to happen on characters like Wizards, Clerics and Archers unless you have a few party members. So yeah, the chain only works if there is at least one non-oracler at the beginning. So yeah, either way you people are screwed to depend on the normal folk. Sucks to be you?If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.
Everyone wants to be different, but when you're different you wish you were normal.0 -
Well i'm using oracles on my alt wizard. I just won't be bothered with too much questing till i get into the fun part ( 60+ )
So i'm a noob? No, i will stop oracling now as TT,GV,FF and all other nice instances will become available to me.
So even though you might not agree to this guide. There are people who find this usefull, so i say +1 for the guide!0 -

Umm... what?
Spider king is EASIEST for wizards, clerics, and archers since all it does at range is use a DoT poison (which LA/robes will have greater resistance to, clerics can purify, and apoth pots/a charm can counter).
Wicked pirate may give problems assuming you don't have the cash to spend on a charm and perhaps getting your character a decent weapon for while they rush through the levels. If, on the other hand, you do have a charm (or are a good cleric), then it won't really be that much of an issue.
By the time you're at 65 for oracle 8s, since you'll have had to move, the smart people will have used this time to get their level 6X twink gears, restock their charm (if needed), and get their cultis done for skills. After that, again, it'd just be easy kills. Especially when you take apoth items or event foods into account.
Really, the killing itself isn't an issue here at all. It's the boring, mindless repetition of it as well as competing with others for the spawn if/when they come.0 -
if someone coined their way to this many oracles then they're probably pimped by a high lvl main so gear/takeing down an oracle boss should not be a problem at all.

Perhaps your right, don't know yet. Was early when I was trying to do the math for just oracle 2s and such... And by you pointing out that its 5token per 2 I know I did my math wrong, so Ill go back tomorrow and redo it and see what I get as far as doing just oracle 2s and such, also fixing the exp and such on the reversed oracles -.-"
So many lil errors I didnt notice, guess there is always a perk to posting this.. Thanks for pointing these things out guys ^^0 -
Pretty sure Oracle XIII is the most efficient cost to exp ratio. The only problem is there is only 2 of the monster in all of PW. Not as bad as Oracle I, I suppose. I think Oracle II is the second most efficient cost to exp ratio. Not sure, been a while since I crunched the numbers on it.0
-
Wow you need to be filthy rich to use this method b:shocked.
So what do u for crafting skills? Buy those mats as well? And as already pointed out earlier, the spirit is too less for getting the require skills for your level. The lower level normal levelling characters would probably have more skills than a person solely levelling on oracles.0 -
with official severs like this, who needs xxxxxxx servers lol b:surrender0

I am lv 100 cleric. If i lvl a BM to 80 or so with oracles then yes im going to be a nub BM because unless i have used another persons account (which your not suppose to) all you will know about that class is what you have seen and heard on your screen as 2nd and 3rd person.
This can be said for anyone. If someone is the same class and lvl as you, when you got your lvl by normal lvling and they got theirs by oracles only, most pple will laugh at the oracle lvler if they say their NOT noob, just because you know there is much more play knowledge gained than wacking 1000 same mobs in a same location.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]lagunal8.deviantart.com

Only problem with the OP's chart is that not all servers have a "set" price for tokens. Lost City for example has tokens in rising prices for the last couple of days. Started at 17k a week or so ago all the way up to today I have yet to see anyone selling for less than 22k.
Although I have bought a couple Oracle II's for 50k a piece which in turn comes out to 20k per tokenb:pleased.
Also, I don't recommend using this method to lvl unless you already know how to play your class (meaning the said character you're leveling).
Personally I've only used Oracles to finish off lvls, like that extra 20% you only need, but that's just me.0 -
Only thing I've used oracles for is to sell them.
That and for extra spirit/exp to dump into genies when I don't feel like grinding it or doing a FB for whatever reason.0
