I can't open the Elemental client?

I can't open the Elemental client, as you read. Ok, this is what i do.

1. I click on Perfect world lancher

2. I wait for the blue meter to fill

3. I click start

Then the launcher closes and nothing happens?

I know its very simple and plain, but I like it XD.

I'm back! I knew I said i'd never come back but yeah im back now :p.

    Can you verify your game files by clicking verify on the launcher then see if it works.

    Ive tried but nothing happends??? i had and update but it wouldent update so i closed it and now it's stuffed?

    I'm going to need some more information from you about your computer.

    Find out what the model number for your PC is. Check the documentation that came with your PC, or look on the back or bottom of your PC for the model Number.

    Please tell us the manufacturer's name of your system too! (Like HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc.)

    Next, go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista/7), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

    Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:

    Upgrading my Java did not work for me. This is a very strange problem. I was on earlier this morning, normal operation. Then when I returned to play some more the client started crashing.

    I get to the character selection screen, press Start, watch the green bar go across, then at the instant the game world should appear it crashes. The Windows message says "element client has stopped working." Windows supplies no further info.

    Rebooted. Did a complete Verify on the client. Other games, including an MMO, start and run normally. Checked AVG and Windows Defender. Checked Task Manager for unusual activity. None.

    OS, Windows Vista, 6 gig of RAM, quad core, all the goodies.

    Ok, what I have may be a bugged character.

    On a whim, when I got to the character selection screen I selected my Barbarian instead of my Venomancer that I was playing earlier.

    With the Barbarian selected, the game starts normally. No problems.

    Returning to the login screen and selecting the Venomancer once more causes the client to instantly crash when I press Start and the green bar has gone across. Nothing unusual about where I left the Venomancer. Out by the Swordcraftsman where I was gathering some Dull Claws to get started on the Dragon Quest. Dismissed the pet before exit. Veno was in good health, etc.

    So, I guess I will file a GM ticket ingame. Very strange.

    I always use the normal exit command for the game on the interface, no Alt F4.
