Using Flesh Ream in PvP bannable?

In both links, Xarfox confirms that the flesh ream skill is a bug.
"We are aware of the bug" (referring to flesh ream... you can take a look through the thread if you don't believe me)

    All those topics are from march, may and july ... i doubt they r still bugged since i havent hear any1 being banned for using that skill in pvp ...

    The topics are old... GM's dont seem to like to talk about it. They are not fixed if thats what you think lol. Seriously doubt anyone will get banned, but figured I'd throw it out there xD

    The Gm says:
    "Now regarding Flesh Ream. I'm going to sound like a broken record but I assure you all that we have expressed the PWI player base's sentiments regarding this skill to the development team and will continue to push for this to get fixed."

    Note how he says "player sentiments"

    Also, from the most recent post, the GMs that the skill is working as intended.
    And that a person would only get in trouble if they glitched a mob with it.
    "Using the skill normally as it was intended to be used is not exploiting, so you obviously can use it, just don't ABuse it "

    Oh well.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    Either people aren't complaining about it because we're all too busy griping about the Anni-packs or it's the gold prices.

    Something came to mind last night about PvP. Nothing to do with Flesh Ream though.

    My question is the following.

    Does Bramble Guard or Bramble Hood work in PvP?

    If yes then I can't wait until my next run in with a high lvl Blademaster when I have my BrambleHood on and I reflect 200% damage back at him.

    If not then why not?? Why can't we use our most defensive protection in PvP??

    Spoon has stated there are ways to exploit it, but it isnt a bug. There are ways to make flesh ream cause a mob to not attack back, thus leaving the monster defenseless. That is a bannable offense (IE one of the most common: Gouf flying trick.)

    @ Tat: reflecting damage doesnt work, damage reduction does.

    This thread is dumb, no one even QQs about phoenix anymore, dont revive a dead horse only to beat it to death again.

    i cant believe this...all venos nao... change it to bash.... its not a bug or for archers and others it is cuz they cant 1 shot veno and they cry ...now cry me a flesh ream awww <3

    A veno friend has told me that they work but they do not work like they work in PvE. If I understood her properly, Bramble Guard only reflects on pets, and Bramble Hood gets scaled by 1/4 just like your regular attacks get reduced. But I might have misunderstood her.

    Let me put it this way.

    A lot of people invest a lot of money in order to get a Nix.

    A Nix kills everything with FleshReam and Bleed.

    If they fix it on PvP, then it loses its value, because one of its main uses is to PvP and kill almost anyone really quick.

    Fixed FleshReam = less people wanting to get a Nix = Less income for PW

    eeehhhh i don't know about that...what other pet would you use in pvp? a sawfly? not touching on whether flesh ream should be fixed, but i'm pretty sure people will still be getting the phoenix because it's the best attack pet out there. people will spend like 100 bucks on making 1 piece of equip +7, which is like what? less than 300 hp on TT90? you think people won't spend oh...200 or so bucks to get a phoenix?

    try turning down your monitor brightness and taking a break from the computer for like 20-30min... it isn't healthy if your monitor hurts your eyes (regardless of what's on it)

    It was sudden brightness that I didn't expect on a dark background is all. It's also rather annoying.
