    Go figure. Another pointless update that will never be noticed. This could have waited until Tuesday when normal maintenance is going to be done.

    lol wow ya like everyone says READ THE THREADS i just asked the question on why and how long server will be down..only to find this stickied at the top...so now i know...so i will say read the threads because i know first hand IT HELPS..and u look like an idiot if u dont! HA

    About the warnings, i check the forums so sometimes I world chat about maint. Mostly redsrose does it so yeah, that's usually how we know. And plus I say in guild chat and tell friends.

    Won't help. Some idiot always makes a new thread during maintenance. "Why cant I long on? Did the servers crash?" People always want the answers given to them rather than actually putting in some effort and finding them themselves.

    Figured would ask here since there is maint and no one can play and we get more diverse peeps here from the different servers.

    I haven't heard nor seen anything regarding this. They would also be shooting themselves in their own foot to do this.

    Pwi made more money last quarter than WoW. And its a pay to play game. So apparently PWI is doing something right. They'd have to do away with the cash shop in order to make this a pay to play game. And with the reintroduction of the anniversary pack, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

    They clearly like making money... not losing it.

    Never heard it, but with all the cash shop events it wont be likely. Hope not though...

    I thought we were already being asked to pay to play b:chuckle (anni packs)

    I dont think the game will be made pay to play as the micro payment system seems to be working quite good.

    I usually WC about 3-4hrs before maintenance. And maybe a few times thereafter b:cute

    In defense of those unaware and making posts and creating boards about the downtime, "General Discussion" was not the first place I had thought to look. Perhaps something on the news page on the homesite or on the "Official Announcements" forum would have better equipped people.
