    What is really puzzling tho is why the "emergency" maintenance?

    Daylight savings time is more than a week away. They could have easily done whatever they needed for it next tuesday with maintenance. That is well in time for the November 1st daylight savings time gig.

    Somethin is amiss. They aren't telling us... something.

    The maintenance is to make the AnyPacks permanent.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    As awesome as this early forum warning was (And greatly appreciated), Not everyone who plays checks the forums. An earlier in-game warning probably would have saved a lot of whining X'D
    (I'm not whining though. I was just killing things for fun ;D)

    If you play the game every day. You should also make it a habit to check the forums for events, maintenance and other random junk before or during your actual game play.

    Saves you lots of QQ and lets you know what is coming.

    At least on Dreamweaver the in-game notices started at 40 minutes till maintenance (or that's the first time I noticed) - that's not too bad, IMO.

    You know what's awesome? I spammed world chat on sanctuary every couple hours with "The server is going down for maint at 11PDT, just to warn you who don't check the forum" and people accused me of lying, told me I was seeing things, etc etc. I told them to check the forum themselves. They said they didn't see it. So I finally just said you'll see it yourselves when the server shuts down.

    So that just goes to show that advanced warning isn't always appreciated apparently.

    The problem with in-game warnings is that they are easy to miss. Someone already said they missed the 45 minute warning. They flash for only a minute and then the WC QQers go on for another minute. But if you're AFK, in a chat heavy place(west arch), or distracted it's easy for it to go unnoticed. Making the warnings more frequent might help, but then you start getting into the duke spam territory. There's a point where helping becomes hurting.

    You can't rely on in-game warnings. The only way to be 100% sure of when maintenance and events will happen is to check the forums.

    i hope they are fixing the glitches. anytime i go underwater to fight, my hair goes missing, and i look bald. >.> other people have had it happen on harshlands. but notice a lot of other glitches, and some places lag more than others to >.>

    not whining but it would be nice if there was more o an in game warning, most of us feel there's enough bs in wc that we don't see the need to come to the frums and hear more of it

    They changed something to the water allready i noticed in bh 69 in the turtle pond.
    Usualy i could see it swim now i cant see him before i go in lol

    Yea and if they warned you every 5 minutes for over 5 hours you came back here say it is to mutch, its like never good enough for some.
    Just check the forum if you realy want to know.

    Oh! Where do you live? Here in the states (which is where the company runs from) its November 1st. I believe that all servers are on U.S. time. Therefore I do not think that it happening anywhere else would be an issue.

    As I said.. I think something else is up that they aren't telling us.

    i've speculated on the changes made of late and wish they could fix the glitching in the buildings archo, it makes hide and seek there like 20x harder then it should be. there are like 20-30 more spots to hide then i want to bother to look.
