Solo TT....nerfed?

In last couple days i did 1-1 and 2-1 solo TT runs, in 1-1 10 runs i got no edges, just 2 drums. In 2-1 in 11 runs i got no armor, just 4 skins. Some other friends said that droprate seems lower for them too in solo mode, but in squad mode they haven't seen any difference yet. Couple weeks ago me and friends started to do TT solo runs because they took us like 15 mins only and was nice profit...now only losing money on subs and wasting time. Have anyone else noticed this yet?

well its normal that drop rate is lower in solo mode..2 drums is still nice profit,each is like 200k~
have to be diff between solo and squad mode in drops so as it is in difficulty b:surrender

2 drums is profit? 2 drums = 400k
10 runs = 700k on subs
count in some mirages what also have been nerfed long time ago and replaced with chi stones. no profit at all. week ago i did 25 tt1-1 runs and got 3.088m profit, thats over 100k per run
and it wasn't first lucky time, 2 weeks ago we did it daily for drops and 2-1 gave around 1.5m profit in 2 hours per person. all these bad runs have been happening only last couple days0 -
Solo mode is pretty terrible for drops. Maybe one mat every other run on average.
Which is still a profit, I guess.0 -

drums and 4 skins u forgot..u cant expect u get few mil with doing solo runs only,
cuz that much get those which do squad mode and theres big difference in difficulty of solo and squad.
idk about subs price right now,but i wouldnt give u 70k ea for sure,since u can get them with tokens.or farm those 2 subs u use in 20min.
drop rate in solo was always much lower,or every veno would be doing solo mode to get a mil in 30min,besides waste 2hrs+ for squad mode.
if u want it to really pays off,get veno with herc,or barb with cleric,do squad mode and u gonna get much more then 100k per run.
mirages have been replaced with chi stones long time ago,but u still can get them..rarely.
theres alot of ways to earn money for herc,for example farming mid/high mats,every class can do that.
or u can keep doing solo runs,farm the subs,and since it last short,u can do few runs at day0 -
My barb friend started doing solo TTs this week. He's making alot of money. Im sure you just had an unlucky streak. Not every run is supposed to be highly profitable you know.PWI:

Total drop rate average out to 50% chance of a boss to drop in 1-1. I could usually expect 1 drop per run, at most every other run, each time I ran it back in October 2008. 1 drop in 10 runs is not from lower drop rate of single; that is either some really bad, horrendous luck; or the drop rate was lowered.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. How 2 drums in 10 runs, no edges and couple mirages can be profit? Average token price is around 18-20k on DW server, thats 63-70k per sub, im doing 10 runs per day, thats 20 subs and 20 subs x 10 mins is to much time to farm. and i could make mills last week, read my previous posts again. Why would i make money of farming mats or spend hours on farming subs if in 2 hour time can do 8 tt2-1 runs with 3 ppl party and make an easy mil? armors worth 600k+, now even more, we got 1-2 armors per run most of the time0 -

Probably so...get buffed before you go in.
When I'm bored I'll do 1-1's in solo. Profit notwithstanding, it's kinda peaceful in there by yourself.
Not sure if solo has been nerfed, but seems like fb69 drops have increased exponentially. Last 2 runs we had 4 mold drops including chieftain's cape.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I think they lower drop rate. They can do everything with update. Also this is not first thing what they did to worse game. Also few month ago I think they lower perimeter of taking agro. When I was farming mats, I could be nearer to mob, before taking agro. Now the mob have to be in longer distance, before I took agro. So farming became little bit harder. if its so easy to get few mil just with solo runs,everyone would be doing it..
why would veno waste so much money to get herc,if can make few mil in solo run with shadou cub for example..lol
yes,farming is boring and takes time,but its definitely money.
if u farm high mats,100 of each,and sell them for 4k~ thats over 1.6mil FOR SURE and only urs.
consider this,if u gonna farm fb69 for molds..u need 2 wines for each run,u need a barb and another cleric,to get a mold worth how much?
with repair bills,and possible exp loss (if cleric is not much experienced in that fb),
1 mold wont satisfy u since u have to split it..and thats IF u get the mold.
anyway,i am just trying to tell u best way to get some money,but its ur character after all and everyone do things on his own way,so..good luck with it b:victory0 -

Because people maximize profit. At 6X, clerics and venos could profitably solo TT 1-1, expecting at least 1 drop each run. That was for people who actually put effort into the game. Nowadays people hold off or want someone to show them what to do. And since 1-1 only has 2 drops, bu the time venos get their legendary pet and comfortable with farming, they've moved to a different one and are doing that for higher profit on drops. Or do squad mode solo so that they gain even more money. tT 1-1 is low end profit, that seems to have become worse.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. The drop rate is definitely lower in solo mode then before. I've done alot of solo TT runs and know what to usually expect. Also I'm not the only Veno on my server that has noticed it. Could it be that if people make less coin in-game, they will be encouraged to farm the cash shop instead of TT for things they need? Hmmmmm........Like others have said, this would not be the 1st time TT drops have been nurfed, or changes made without being anounced.
Seems like most every change made to PWI is something to make it harder not to spend real money.0 -
since gold is so expensive alot of ppl is farming hh,so maybe that effected drop rate too.0

No, the drop rate has always been thrash. It's just that before when there were fewer higher levels there were fewer materials so that meant the mats had a high price. It was nice when TT1-1 solo was actually quite profitable but now... You can only laugh

I am not talking about getting mil in ONE run, but in many. I can do 10 solo runs or 1 squad run in same amount of time. me and my friends from 9 tt solo runs got 9 armors, 3 skins, 30 mirages. and other runs was with around same droprate. now count how much money it is for each person and stop talk about things you haven't tried and have no idea. TY

If you are going to wine it... you will be lucky to break even. If you are not going to wine it, you can grind faster somewhere else. Just did 1-1 solo on my Bm. Drops : P.stone, crusader order, 2 mirages and 1 broken drum.
not great but in profit for 10 minutes work0 -

Depends on level. If you did it at a close level to the bosses you'd find yourself with far better drops. Since BH runs are done with as high as lv89, drops tend to be less.
That said, molds are rare, wines cost a lot and Pole is untankable for a veno and guar is a pain.0 -

I'm one of the friends that goes with Skimi. What she says is true. Solo mode has lower drops, however, they haven't always been THIS low.....
If we can get 40+ Mirage Stones, 3 Frenzy Lion Skins, and 9 Fusura Armors in 9 runs.. and then the following week do it 20+ times and get barely ANYTHING at all short of some stones and a drum or so, then i'm sorry but.. something has definately changed...
Keep in mind, we aren't new to TT runs, especially skimi. i'd venture to say she's got quite a few TTs under her belt solo. Never heard her complain until a few days ago. So I went with her and sure enough.. got nada.

In statistical analysis, what you are experiencing is called clustering or clumping. Unfortunatly, things are not truelly random, and they tend to repeat themselves in cycles. If you notice, mobs tend to do that as well. You start with mobs nicely spaced out, and after awhile, they all clump up together.
The same with the AnyPacks, you can open 200 and get nothing but regular tokens, than open 10 and get 4 or 5 ultra rare items in a row. Technically, the statistical chance to get a rare item is the same in every single pack, however, you will see lots of clustering throughout opening packs. Before The Duke got muted, you could see that, where you would go a few minutes with nothing happening, than get 5-6 announcements in a row of someone getting rare items.
In order to see if they really changed the drop rates, you will need to record every run over a period of time, and compare the drops over that period to a previously known period. The longer the time frame you look into, the better results you get. Or you can make up the time period by instead having lots of different people's imput.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. I was writing down droprates before, now it is waste of time and money as i lose money not make profit from it. And i kinda don't wanna believe that 20-30 runs with sucky drops can just explain with bad luck, but can never know0 -
