Hey people,
Don't know if this is where to post it but anywho.
I had an idea. What do think of being able to glide wile flying? Like if your up high you could put it onto glide and dive down to pick up speed. Don't know how hard it would be to add in but hey i think it would make flying a little more interesting.

mmmm it looks like you are posting in the wrong section.
Besides that, you already glide. If you are flying and your press the stow aerogear key, you will notice that you do not fall streight down, you sill keep moving forward as you get lower and lower (the definition of gliding).Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0 -

yeap, this should be in the suggestions section. and Ice has said it all. In order to glide your destination have to be away from where ur character is. By stowing the aerogear while u've reached destination will not create a gliding effect. You have to be moving while you stow it0 -
It's rather more like the motion of a brick released from a great height. More plummeting than gliding.
Not really sure what this would add.0 -
Sorry for posting in the wrong place.
I kinda mean you know how when you fly with the direction keys and a mouse you can control what angle your on. I if you could do that whilst gliding/falling you would have more control. Like how a bird flys. I don't know just an idea.0 -
aions flying system fails, don't implement it here.0

That isn't gliding.
That's simply falling...with STYLE! Extra points if you manage to land on an NPC from height 78! b:cool0 -
I've done that, Sonic Oppressor and Sword Tamer.0

When talking about "gliding", prototype comes into mind. When the term "glide" comes into play, it sorta means "unable to maintain flight". Whats the point when we can already fly freely without stop?I was early taught to work as well as play,
My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.0
