As You mentioned You are trying to make Crossbow Archer I'll assume that You wanna PK in future. Best build for that is 1 str 4 dex every lvl meaning You should have STR: Level + 4 (ex: at lvl 51 You should have 55 STR) DEX: rest of Your points.

Since youre lvl51 you may already know this but a newbie might learn a thing or two if they see this topic =]

I dont really spend that much money on pots and ammo.I buy the weakest ammo cuz theyre only 2each and at MY level i dont really need those +16 or whatever dmg from higher lvl arrows. As for pots i dont really buy them especcialy when i just got my 100 mp&hp pots from the box. Also dont spam your skills,i ussualy use frost, few normals, knockback and normals until its dead that way i dont use so much mana, and from time to time i pop up winged shell(i think it was shell) for the extra mp.As for hp pots i just use increased hp reg pot wich i buy from apothecary, and that way i rarely use a hp pot.As for money problems dont buy armour from vendors its a waste, you can get better ones from drops and only time you should BUY armour is the ranked ones.As for skills first level the atack skills and then the rest. And as Mushkin said about the build i also think its right.Well hope this helped someone b:bye

    Ways I save money:
Buy as few pots as possible, I wouldn't say never buy them at all like some because sometime you just need a few extra. But I find quite often the ones that drop while grinding are enough to get buy if you level up winged shell.

I also notice a lot of people leave ammo just laying around pick it up! For heavens sake why pass up free items so you can spend a few less coins and still have some of the higher level shot. When I know I'm going to go grind or farm mats I stock up on the cheapest of the ammo I'm using.

The biggest for me has been making my own weapons using mats I've gotten myself, yes I know farming mats is boring. But its the difference of a few thousand coins and the chance of making much nicer item than the npc sells.

Finally, I collect all DQ items whether or not I intend to even use them for DQ (usually not). For DQ 21/30 sell great using a catshop if you can leave your computer up and running or just auction them off in small portion. For the DQ item after 31 I just sell to the npcs.

Alice, you know you could have asked in guild chat xD. I would have told you all this lol.
If you have the chance you should get a reset scroll, and rid of some of that vit and mag. You lose alot of damage by not having that dex. As for xbows, when you get to 60, and higher; Make sure you turn swiftwind->thundercrack->flashfire->blinding radiance. Best set of xbows period.

As for making money, it gets better as you get higher level. In your 60's / 70s dreaming cloud, and swamp dq drops should be enough to get you gear, and other needs. Other good money making techniques include collecting materials and herbs for vending to make wines for all these BHs.

    how to collect? 1800-CALL-ATT

o ya...someday, preferably when anniversary packs are gone so gold is not so expensive, restat that magic at least into dex. you'll need less pots if you can do more damage, i'd restat that vit while you're at it too but that's really your preference if you want to be vit built or pure dex.

I would concur with the vast majority of what's posted. As a "Glass Cannon" archer[maximized damage- 1 str, 4 dex- every level, every time] I have never- yes, NEVER- bought potions. Doing "One Man Army" quests a few times each level usually provides enough mana and HP pots to keep me going, the few times I need them.

I completely agree with the whole "if you have to buy ammo, buy the cheap stuff"- and I'll add this to it: get low level friends. They will collect low and mid-grade ammo all day on drops, and give it to you. I currently have close to 30k arrows, 18k bolts, and 98k shot, simply because my lower level friends pick it up for me and hand it over, sometimes nightly. If I switch weapons mid-week, and put my crossbow away.... Well, let's just say, I haven't bought any ammo in quite some time!

Not collecting your drops= inability to QQ about being broke. Pick up EVERYTHING! IT ALL SELLS AT THE MERCHANT! Even if you have no use for it, or the item has no value to other players- the merchant will ALWAYS give you cash for it.

Being an archer is easy, if you plan ahead! Best of luck.

Great idea with the ammo Shao. I might have to see about doing that too now that I'm in a more active faction :)

I also agree doing the 1 man army is great. Can't go wrong with the little rep, celestone, and easy access to pots. I personally do it a couple times each day and its paying off since some of those mobs drop mats and DQ at my level.
