Hey, I just wanted to know which class/race is better...?

I decided to try this game after playing Ether Saga for awhile, and I'm not sure which race or class I want to be.

I like Archers, and winged elves look pretty, but the Venomancers and their cute little animal features are making it hard to pick.

I would just like to know some things about each of these classes (I checked the beginner guide, but I still can't decide). What are their pros and cons?

    Venomancers -- Easy to start out with class. They have their own personal tank...but they get harder at higher levels when they're actually expected to have some skill. Also most venos are expected to get a really expensive pet at some point b:surrender

    Barbarians -- Main tank class. High HP and defense, and fairly rare on the servers. They're slow to level, but you'll always be wanted in a party if you play one.

    Wizards -- Hard to play at lower levels, but incredibly strong at endgame. Also a rare class because most people that play them quit at low levels from dying too much.

    Blademasters -- Melee DD class, and secondary tanks. They're used as tanks when barbarians can't be found, and manage fairly well, but don't compare to barbarians tank-wise. The only melee DD in the game.

    Archers -- High spike damage and lots of crits. Very high damage class, especially in PvP (if you decide to go PvP). Has to hold themselves back sometimes in instances though, because it's hard for an archer not to steal aggro.

    Clerics -- Healing class, but can also DD if needed. Almost always wanted in a squad. Can be used to solo, but more likely you'll be in squads if you're a cleric.

    That being said, play which one you like best. You can always try a new class later. b:cute

    im sorry i dont have much time to explain this with my word but ill send u to the class discussion where u can check every class and if u read the sticky guides of each class u can make ur mind

    barbarian = tank class (very needed)
    venomancer = pet class, alternative tank
    cleric = support class, nice dmg (very needed)
    archer = DD class, nice crits
    mage = DD class, very high damage skills
    blademaster = DD class, can use all weapon and has nice variety of skils

    I just want some opinions from a few players from either class. Some things they like and some things they don't.

    Venomancer - don't let anyone lie to you. It's not as easy as it looks. There are many builds and styles of play for this class. If you look in the Class Discussion area we do a lot of fighting over pets, skills, and play styles.

    Cleric - a really super sexy class to play. They also have a hard job in the game but they rock. They are kind of rare in the higher levels and people are always looking for good ones.

    Archers - I can't play this class. I don't like LA builds much. They have one of the highest DPS in the game next to the wizard.

    Blademaster - one of the other sexy classes of the game. As someone who plays squishy characters, I love BMs. They are forever saving my **** in dungeons and let NO ONE tell you they are useless. However, the like to cause a lot of problems for clerics. b:chuckle

    Barbarian - tanking class. Hard to come by in the upper levels as well. You will be well sought after if you go with this one.

    Wizard - a really, really squishy class. These are usually hard to play in lower levels but get really good at higher levels. They have one of the highest DPS in the game.

    My personal favorites to play are Venos and Clerics. After them it's a toss up between Wiz and BM.
