"Beserk weapons"

I've just aquired a berserk lunar pole blade, but has some quetions about berserk stat weapons as a whole....

Seems like many people likes berserk weapons... is it really worth it to have extra powerful damage at cost of loosing 5% hp when stat turns on? would like to hear some suggestion in both PVP and PVE point of view.

would also like to ask for recommendations of gears that work well in helping one to work good with a berserk weapon, in terms of not killing self too much by the lost of too much hp due to the effect of -5%hp

    PvE - Great with Axes since when you Zerk, you Zerk all the mobs at the cost of, still, 5% HP.

    PvP - Awesome, in PvP all you want is deal the most damage in the less time possible, in other words spike damage.

    That's basically a summary of it.

    Pretty much the only area that beserk weapons aren't good in is 1v1 PvE, where it's just annoying to lose 5% hp against a single mob.

    probably sucks for a sword bm lol since your weapon is the 2nd fastest out of the 4. (more zergs triggered so you lose more hp)

    but can i get any experienced pole bladers that have used berserk pole weapons (dance of universe, etc) give me some input or tell me how well such a weapon performs.

    zerk poleweap = double the already excessive damage you do with poleweap mastery path

    pve: great for bosses and instanced areas with high-hp elites, but you'll feel the pain when grinding, thx to a lack of aoe skills (as was mentioned, zerked aoe skill = lots of wounded mobs)

    pvp: zerk poleweap skills = ****... end of story lol


    main thing is, zerk only really is worth it for pvp or if you have alot of aoe skills with the weapon
