Hi,

I'm a lvl 26 wizard, and I'm wondering if there is any advantage of buying a sword from the boutique or waiting till lvl 30 to get one?

If the boutique swords are better (in stats) I might buy one.
Also what does the duration on it mean? like 450/900 seconds for the lailas heart one? Does that limit how long I can fly on it for? Also can I carry my girlfriend in game on the flying sword with me? (I can carry her around normally).

Basically If the free sword I get a lvl 30 is just as good I will just wait.

Thanks for any help :)

    1. the duration is like when you want to use the acclerate so when its 0/??? you can still use it and but it will go normal speed. if you have the money to buy a cash shop flying mount then do so and upgrad it useing wing widgets but if you can't then stick with the level 30 fly mount you get. stat wise the bontique swords are much better. yes you can carry any girl while you fly

    Thank thats a great help.

One more question. If I buy one now, but later on when im lvl 50+ etc I want to upgrade, would I be able to sell the older boutique flying sword? (for in game coin or for boutique gold?)

Just asking these questions to make sure I don't waste real life money :)

If you buy a flying mount (as you're talking about flying swords i'm guessing you're human), yes you can sell it later if you so wish. You can sell it for in game coin. I'm pretty sure that you cannot exchange it directly for gold though obviously with any coin you get you might be able to buy gold via the Auction House.

When I got my flying sword from the supply stash, it only had a duration of a week so after that time expired I was back on my first flying sword. I don't know if this is still the case or if it has changed. I imagine it is still the case.

Flying swords bought from the Boutique are permanent.

After a lot of saving, I bought the Urim's Light flying sword which goes at 3 m/s normal and 5m/s accelerated.

I am led to believe that 3 m/s (normal) & 5 m/s (accelerated) is the maximum speed you can get for any flying mount as advised by other posters.

If you decide on buying a boutique flying mount that is slower than this with a view to increasing the speed later on, you might want to read the whole of the following post, it may give you a better understanding of wind widgets which are used to increase speed of flying mounts as well as some of their particular details.

Thanks, yeah I ended up getting urims light. As it was the best one there. So I'm not able to upgrade it because its already maxed out? (+3 normal and +5 accelerated).

This thing kicks ****! My girlfriend got phoenix wings for her cleric so cruising around together is more fun now :)

Still got 23 gold left... What else is good to buy? :D

See my above post, I did buy it! It's great!
So can I make it any faster with upgrades or is +3 / +5 accelerated the best?
