    As my high school art teacher told me many, many years ago: "Change the judge(s) and you'll change the winner(s) every time."

    It's all subjective; all the images picked are winners. An Honorable Mention is just as good as a 1st/2nd/3rd place, there's just not a prize to go along with it. b:victory

    1- no mention the strange rules u apply
    2- Bad winners (Why? What u think?)
    3- Many Nice artist left cauze the comp have bad prices lately
    4- no much time to work on it= trash sumissions less quality
    5- As GM no ipartial, an QQ as player (like me)
    6- ALl PWI people no have time for vote (xpantion coming)

    1 - It would be nice if the rules were a bit easier to find. A nice sticky with the rules listed maybe b:victory

    2 - Completely personal opinion. I might consider some of the non-winners better, but that doesn't mean they are more deserving. It's individual opinion.

    3 - Why should the prizes even matter? It's about sharing your art.

    4 - It did seem a bit short to me, but when you look at how awesome so many of the entries were . . .

    5 - I have no idea what you are trying to say.

    6 - I don't think these contests were ever put up for player voting? That's not the point of the contest, in my opinion.

    Congratulations to the winners! And the runner-ups of course. Although my wallpaper didn't win, I plan to participate in the next competition as well. It was fun for me to make a wallpaper since I haven't made one in years.

    But for me it was the last time i take part on this contest. And no...its not because i have not won, thats absolutly peripheral.
    I don't like and don't understand the way the judges seem to pik their favourites. Thats just easy said what i mean and...just one of more reasons.

    Cool 2 runner and 1 win so far :P

    (Studying art I must admit some runners up and winner make me a little confuse.. But oh well I'm not judge after all)

    Thelegion, DivineMaiden and Toxickiss (gosh you improved since last aprilb:pleased)

    Have done superb works. They would have been my winner.! (I'm probably corrupt by the corn candy of toxic, love them so much XD..yummy candy )

    Y'know... this is just getting really old. The past three contests, so far as I've seen, at least one entry has had plagerism/copyright issues.

    Checked up on DA, out of curiosity. As per the original artwork, these be the rules:
    ● Please link back to my stock profile/credit me in your description, it makes it easier for others to find the file
    Checked all DivineMaiden's calendar-related posts. No mention of this anywhere.
    ● Please give me a comment with a link to your deviation so I can fav it
    Obviously not applicable to the contest.
    ● Not for commercial use
    N/A? Does PWI place any commercial value on these?
    ● Not to be used outside of dA without written permission from me
    THIS is a big one. Maiden, do you have permission from the artist/photographer?
    ● You're not allowed to make prints of your deviations that include my stock photos.
    ● You're not allowed to make prints of your deviations that include my stock photos.
    ...Yes, it's repeated twice. Still N/A.
    ● If you have any questions feel free to ask
    And to top it off, I checked the derivative artwork linked in the comments (ALL of them) and not one is the PW-ized one Maiden posted.

    ...Now here's the saving grace: Maiden's artwork (not the photo) is more than just a clever photomanipulation. It's been redrawn, I imagine over the labor of several hours, and shows actual work and effort. It's very well done, and quite frankly the ONLY complaint I have with it (re, terms of 'art theft') is that the original artwork (the photo) is not credited or linked, and that it's being used outside of DA without the artist's consent or knowledge (as per their wishes in the photograph post).

    I agree that she should have linked to the original / checked with the photographer from DA, but I hardly consider this theft on the level of some past entrants who chose to cut/paste or use someone else's work entirely.

    I thought the same thing, until I saw that my favorite runner-up was just done on top of someone else's stock. Why don't people make their own art anymore.

    I guess I hadn't post here on pwi-ized too yet, well here that.

    Also, as beautiful as the photograph is, there hardly any shadows in the skin, so if you do put it side by side with mine you can see it more clearly. I send several versions to this contest and the one in my account is the one I personally like best.

    I don't know why u think she just posted it. It clearly states that it was submitted on October 1st under the details section.

    I've seen it before the edit, and I posted a screenshot to prove it. You can simply edit your comments or even change the deviation without the date being modified.
