Sacrificial Assault?

Okay, I know that Sacrifical Assault is an exp modifier for mobs, something like 1.25x exp, instead of the full 1.5, but what exactly are the stats that get modified for this type? I noticed that it has a stronger attack and weaker defense, but is this all there is to it?

    Pretty much - stronger attack *and* magic attack, but much easier to kill as well.

    It's a real pain on the monsters that get a final shot off as they die, or explode.

    I had to kill a sac assault culti 49 boss once... It one hit me with an attack that took over 7k hp (on my meagre 3.5k...) b:shocked

    To answer the OP, they do have stronger attack but weaker defence. You can usually kill them before they do too much damage. The ones that get you are those that spawn on you while you're killing something else b:angry

    Sac assault mobs are my favorite in the game :D Die fast, and extra exp. Just drop them before they reach you and yummy.

    You got to be careful with those. Last time, i almost died because I went up to one and I starting smacking it with my magic sword, b:laugh course I was fooling around. Later, almost half my hp was gone and I was poisoned. b:cry

    To be completely honest, all I knew was that sacraficial assalt on a monsters advanced abilities = weak. I never noticed that they were stronger in physical and mp. b:surrender

    Probably because you kill them before they hit you b:victory

    But yeah, they do a substantial higher amount of damage if they hit you.

    From a more technical standpoint...

    Sacrificial Assault cuts the mob's Max HP in half, and effectively gives a boost similar to +100 attack level, doubling all damage they inflict to a target(s).

    Just for the record and all. >_<

    And yeah, sac mobs are one of my favorites to kill, since they are easy, but my pets take a ton of extra damage if i dont kill them quickly.

    SA mobs have double attack, give double exp and have half health. :D

    They give 1.5x xp.
