overthinking things make my head hurt and creates too much curiosity for me to handle. i could not help it after looking at some of the stuff about rising tide. it sounds awesome, how there is going to be new places, new classes, new stuff, and a class that lives under the water? they probably can breathe underwater and cool stuff like that!

wait....b:sad

if they get underwater breathing, and it is one of their race specialties, then that means that a *shudders* breath bar is going to be added to elves, untamed, and humans? because we all cant have tideborn traits...b:shocked

tell me it is not true! woe is me! what little there is between titatnium lungs and ones of the flesh! must i come up from the depths every three minutes?
meh. what do you guys think?

I think they just get increased swimming speed - I highly doubt they will add breathing bars for the rest of us.

actually, a breathing bar would be good. it is kind of uncomfortable being under so long...you supposed to be like this underwater after 10 mins b:faint, not this b:sleep. it is abnormal, even for intelligent wolf creatures.

Ok,pw doesnt have a breathing bar. But u will drown if u leave ur character in the water for a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time. I think it would be cool to have a breathing bar too bcus like it does get boring goin on and on wit out noing ur in anger.then again it would suck for the PvP players and Ppl over lvl 10 and u would have to keep goin back and forth back and forth every time u die trying to cross som watr.b:shocked tsk tsk tsk

drowning is good for you because it

    1. is something you should do when your'e bored (not in real life though)

    2. it teaches us uhm, uhhh
    ...b:surrender i give up.
i think that IF a breath bar was added, it would be something that could easily be dealt with, and that it would probably be like an estimate of 5-10 mins anyway ( ancient-kung-fu-breathing-using-universal-juices-go! b:angry).

Tideborn should get increased swimming, water walking abilities, and other classes should have a breathing bar while Tideborn shouldn't.

Well, I've seen in other games that if you stay underwater too long your HP starts to go down little by little. Imagine what would happen if our HP goes down while trying to kill the Dragon of the Depths or during some underwater quest. b:chuckle BMs and Barbs can already float with heavy metal armor on and Clerics can use wind attacks underwater so breathing undewater seems pretty realistic to me.b:laugh

And now faith, hope, and charity remain; but the greatest of these is charity.

Realistic..lol and flying werebeasts and werefoxes are quite realistic b:sweat
All in all adding that bar would only make things difficult for other non-Tideborn with their water quests and not to mention Dragon temple instance in which everyone except tideborns would drown to death in there lol.
