questions for a GM

It's fun to play this game usually, but when you dont exploit the game and play fair, you can still get players beeing agressive towards you, seems like some like to harass others no matter what. I have 2 questions where this can occur (im not splitting words, i am genuinly concerned in this matter).

1. when attacking mobs with flying pet it works ok most of the time, you atk and heal it like you do with a land pet. At rare occasions a monster might get stuck for a sec or the height difference make it bugged. Then a nearby player quickly replies that he has taken a screenshot and you might get banned for what just happened. What shal i reply to that person that think he is reporting a rule breaker, and I do my best not to? Shal i feel bad and stop playing the game for this? Is it right of the other player to report me?

2. When i fight a regular boss (or world boss), i want to fight the boss and not the cluster of mobs it stands in. Then i want to pull it to the side (not to a safezone). By doing this i also help the players that grinds on the normal monsters and thereby improves gameplay for many instead of interfering with them. Can a GM confirm im doing a right thing? What do I tell the players screaming for blood cause I moved a boss?

For number 1, i would tell them to f off. people threatened to report my friend for botting cause she farmed mid mats too long. and i won't be surprised if someone reported me for hacking cause i am walked down archo wearing shoes.
    1. If I kill you; do something about it yourself, don't go complaining to my wife.
    2. If you have less kill counts then me, don't expect me to take pk advice from you.
    3. If you are hiding behind an alt, don't expect me to acknowledge your existence.

    1) Ignore...seriously

    2) Ignore...seriously

If you are doing nothing wrong, then I would not worry about it. People complain all the time.

My opinion of course....but some people just want to moan about something....b:surrender

    1) If I recall correctly if your using air pet attack land mob and mob is doing damage to pet your fine. I know with Gouf it used to bug him, not sure if it still does. I was told in that case that your abusing a bug if the land mob does not do damage to pet.

    2) I see nothing wrong with pulling boss long as its not into a safe zone you will be fine.

The only bosses you shouldn't attack with air pet are Kimsa and Gouf, because they don't attack back so they say it's a bug, any other, from what I know, it's fine so don't worry about it. And you're right about the damn air pet always getting stuck in the ground, that is why I suggest using a land pet. It does more damage and it doesn't get stuck. Besides, I think an air pet killing a land mob does only half the damage.

I'm not talking about bosses, i've seen this happen on regular monsters aswell. And it does happen even if you never intend to abuse the bug on rare occasions.

BTW where are the GMs to give us the official view on this b:question

Sawfly does more damage than magmite.
Phoenix does more damage than herc. (by far)

Air pets do full damage to land mobs. Half damage only applies to players.

You are totally right, it's well known amongst all my veno friends (who also follow the rules) that this bug can occur on regular mobs also. Since they haven't fixed the pathing bugs of air pets (it get stuck in the ground) you need to attack from a flying mount most of the time.

    1. This can happen an all melee monsters in the game. 2. No land pet can ever compete with my NIX in damage, thats why I use it from my fly mount. Thats also why ppl can mistake me for a rule breaker when i'm clearly not.

My opinion: The GM's should have been here quickly giving support to the good guys and girls in the game. If they are silent they are in my opinion giving support to the bored kids that like to scare and harass fair players. OP have my full support and I hope the GM's give you peace when they answer this. We all know what the rules for exploits are, and we all do our best to not break them. Can anyone ask for more? Enough people have left the game for the high gold prices, we don't need more of the good stuff leave this great game. Amen.

I got the air-pet bug on gouf on Tuesday, so no, it's still there.

He survived long enough for me to reposition the pet though, so it's all ok.

It not so cut & dry that they dont attack air pets period. The air pet has to come down close to the top of the mob. Melee only bosses & mobs, can not attack straight up, thus the glitch. Gouf still can be glitched like this, your experiment with the foxwing probably sent the foxwing in too low.

In addition to Gouf & Kimsa, i know Quillhog King is also on the list, along with any Melee only regular mob (or other unthought of bosses).
