Low Level Wizzies arent Gimped

Hi i have been hearing a lot that low level wizards(30-40) wont stand a chance watsoever in a pvp situation well i dont know about mid lvls(50-70) but at lvl 30 i have owned so many people in duels and pking especially clerics which many people say own wizzies at all levels well just a couple days ago i was in secret passage killing ossein guards and this lvl 41 archer kills me i come back and i kill him 3 times in a row (he was rednamed also b:laugh) and tbh thats a proud moment for me lol and i have been able to protect myself against barbs and clerics my lvl because they attack me if i accidently steal a mob lol

i am just hoping that this power of mine b:victory isnt gonna go away in the later levels lol
also this is sort of an informative thread for newcomers after they read everybody saying that pre90 wizzies suck

    i never been a wizard, and grats on **** , but i wouldnt trust hamster , u know what they say , you can never trust a hamster that has magical ability's

    That's true for any class but Veno and Barb, really. Veno = Heal Pet, Heal Pet, Heal Pet, and Barb = Equip Charm, attack, AFK solo everything but the worst bosses...

    Are you LA, or Arcane? In low levels is big difference in survivability if you are LA or Arcane.

    Well i started out LA but killing monsters was slow so i stopped putting dex in recently and am going arcane i got 36 dex b:cryb:surrender

    lol.. wizards are gimped unless you're either fighting some moron or have some kind of advantage over the other, like having a HP charm equipped when the other doesn't. Difference in money spent on armor/etc matters too.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    Knowing how to play your class doesn't mean your damage randomly goes up. You also have no stuns, your kiting skill's cooldown sucks balls at low levels and half of your skills have crappy range. Earth Barrier also isn't max yet till 54 or something, and you have no spike damage whatsoever unless you count single spark(lol). You also have no stuns/paralyze skills/etc.


    Yes, wizards are gimped for a long time, there's no point in denying it.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    Consider that maybe 80 percent of the people playing this game are morons

    Knowing how to PVP vs each class (basic stuff e.g. not using earth spells on other mages w barrier, the minimum range archer thing, knowing when to use ults\sutra\spark, correct genie combination, right use of apoth, good kiting and use of DS\FoW and so forth) will make you somewhat less gimped - most people really have no idea how to PVP even at 9\10x

    Well also depends on how all ur opponents play. I feel at low lvls wizards aint gimped. I was arcane and i won alot, i change to LA around 50 and won alot. We just gotta play alot of kiting, and pls dun be afraid to run.

    We are overall a squishy class, and whole point of being a wiz is to strike from for. So do that and u are ok.. abuse ur slow, aerocraft and shrink.
    We are around to irritate and **** em off XD especially barbs, so fun to disturb em.

    If you feel like you know how to play the game, go roll an archer and get a HP hiero. You'll most likely **** anything you run into from lv40-78 if it's equal to your level.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    i think i know how to play my class cuz me and my frend(barb) always have duels every couple levels and i win most of the time unless he gets a good stun on me then he **** meb:surrender also i rpk every once in a while when im extremely bored training and just recently i rpked a lvl 34 barb ( i was 36 when attacking) and i knew he was trying to win cuz he used pots but in the end i single sparked b:victory and koed him b:laugh i dont care what u say but wizzies are not gimped....yet b:pleased

    dont get me wrong i love my harshlands wizzy. In fact i love playing both archer and wizzy...yes im a DDer. But wizzy is a bit difficult early on

    So true, when I dueled (I know, dueled... -_-) my archer friend at low levels she always killed me few hits why I was still channeling pyrogram, now its like FoW undine sandstorm dead (she has low hp...)

    u see thats what i hear yet i own most archers and every single cleric i have fought in duels and pking so thats my point

    dueling isnt pvp end of story. Did the other chars have charms? probably not. that goes a long way. here's the real me right now on my archer http://www.pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=c8fad219ca8bb89e and i love pvp. in my opinion both archers and wizzies are natural killers and i love them.

    hey 1 shot, here's a tip:

    it cost less to refine than it cost to use g8 hp stones. you'd have more hp if you spent the same amount on g6 stones and refines.

    my boots, bracers, helm and legs can all be considered end game and used till TT 99. im doing both tyvm. Since g8 were cheap due to the event i focused on those first. now i can focus on refines for said pieces and there we go. more hp than g6 + refines.

    Pretty much at my level , successful pvp means jumping off my sword, Black Ice Dragon Strike on 2 or more pkers, and then waiting patiently (maybe 2 seconds) for arrows or axes to go through my pure-build wet-paper armor body.

    And I have a v. good weapon at my level, so I hurt. I just function much the same as a hornet or wasp, dead after striking.

    lol ok and yah they didnt have charms but neither did i lol so we both had to live off pots and anything else that would heal and they get the advantage of more hp than wizzies as well
