You can move this, delete this, lock it...it doesn't matter but it will be seen and that is all that matters.

Perfect World came to me as a banner advertisement on a web page. I clicked the little banner and watched videos. Wow..looked great. I started it..a few days before Closed Beta ended, got my boyfriend and his brother involved as well.

For someone like me..on-line gaming is an escape. Being disabled I can't go anywhere and if I get a job I lose my medical benefits so..I stay at home and play the role of house wife. I can't get out to make friends due to my boyfriends long work hours so I made friends here =) All kinds of great friends. Even some very nice GMs that listened and supported us.

I started buying gold with what little I had left, I wanted to support the great game that even the doctor had said helped my stress and depression some. I wanted to give back to the people that had helped make the long, lonely days seem..a little shorter.

But over the last few months..my joy has dwindled. There is more stress and no fix for it. Bugs that will maybe get fixed later, constant "sales" that are making it hard for the normal people and constant thread locks/moves with silly reasons if the GM or Mod does not agree.

I remember back when this game flourished..now it is dying just like the other games I played due to money.

Can we please go back to how things were? At least meet me half way here =(

I am not wanting this to be viewed as bashing, flaming or crying....I am just kinda hoping maybe this will help...with something.

Just maybe fix 1 bug or glitch next maint. and I will be fine...I sure some others will be to. Just meet the Community you all created and "love" halfway. We are trying are best to meet you halfway now do your part =)

    Sad to hear it, that's true.

    Oh, and the evidence lies in the MY servers, same game, other region, same stuff going on for years (This game is an offspring of that one).
    The MY version is still alive and kicking (but I prefer it here ;))

    That's a joke, isn't it? Selling stuff, that gives you a very low chance to gain endgame gear is an attempt to milk the remaining player base before the game is finally gone for good. These packs allow you to buy basicly all the stuff, you had to 'work' for by grinding and raiding before. But since you can simply buy those things now, one of the main purposes of the game is gone.

    Players that can afford it, will spend as much money as possible to get an advantage over other players and the rest will sooner or later quit the game, since they can't compete with the other players anymore.

    I quit PW quite a while ago, after spending about 450$ on this game, because it simply got too boring and repetative, but when I heard about the upcoming expansion, I got really excited and thought about giving it another try. Today, I reinstalled the client and logged in for the first time in about 4 months, and what I've seen nearly made me puke. Every 4 seconds Duke shouts about one of the same 10 names got a token of great luck or another uber item, some guys I've never seen before run around with Lunar Glade weapons, two +50% acc and +3% crit rings and gold prices have raised to 480k coins.

    Sry, but PWI is dead and I can absolutely understand the OP. I used to love this game and it was my number one time sink, but now it's only a shadow of its own and one Pay2Pawn games among many many others.

    ya, totally agree, and even if nothing gets fixed next maint, lets hope that after the expansion comes out (since they're working hard at it probably) there will be some weeks where they just fix bugs. i for one, will not like starting tideborn, turning into a mermaid, then discovering that i'm a BALD mermaid. that would look so bad on this expansion that everyone's so excited about. "showcasing our new race turning into a mermaid upon entering the water and swimming gracefu- o **** cut that part out" -.-'

    Unless you have no hair options to start with, that way you would not know if you went bald or not :P

    Thanks for not closing this thread Spoons. I know you all do do things and I know you all need the money for servers, paychecks and what not...and I know a **** load of GMs and Mods are over worked.

    I will wait for the expansion and pray that it is as good as we hope..and pray bugs are fixed. If not do I have full right to come to Cali and beat you all with sporks?
