Towards the end of the pack sale last time, he stopped announcing best lucks, and maybe charms. He's announcing both once more.

One of the reasons he is in every chat is so you can see what great things people are getting. You cannot, however, see how many packs they bought to get those wonderful items...in other words, big money for PWE.

-only one thing to do, to be abel to play and maintain sanity is to minimise chat window, forget about guild chat, unbold the font, and play as if you are all alone. either that, or leave till the damn sale is over.

most likely, my kids and i will be playing "MySims" on the computer till the sale is over most of the time, or on handhelds..... dont like it, dont want to, but what other choice are we left with? we are here to PLAY a game, not listen to high pressure sales pitches

Or just ignore the red text. The reason I don't like it is because I usually keep wc/common filtered so all I see are my friends in my faction talking, when I'm standing around afk it's nice to be able to go back up and read the chat. System spam makes that a bit more inconvenient. The sales pitch doesn't really bother me though, I honestly couldn't care less what other people have since having a full set of the top gear ruins the replay value of many areas.

It was more like a few days in he stopped announcing them, then near the end of the sale they turned it back on since presumably most of the packs had sold. I try and agree with those upset about anni packs coming back but then they have to turn around and exaggerate **** like this.

Nonetheless, GM's, devs, or whoever the hell was in charge of the packs were NOT thinking when they brought back these packs, as I'm sure they were aware people hated the red spam, and that people cannot ignore it, but the thought process was too much centered around $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
