    They're doing it around november 22nd bc they wanted to be around the 200th patch date, give or take a week depending on whether they choose to upload it earlier to compete with other MMORPG's.

    And from what I understand, and they have said this on forums, that there has not been an "Official" date yet for even them.

    Soo you claim the 22nd of nov like so many others have..

    First issue with the logic..

    Released around the update 200. We are at 196 and average 2-4 per week. (obviously not this week because of no maintenance)

    So to use a little better logic based on this math...

    We should be getting the expansion this week with the 200th update. To take it a step further from a devs point of view taking the week off could be for testing before the big release. We all know that the last update was a huge 300mb... The whole 3GB, so are you telling me that this expansion will make the content grow the world much more than 10% of the current world... well I would guess that it will be slightly larger than that maybe around 20-30% larger but also think that that 3GB is the information for NPCs and mobs which are not roaming around in the Tideborn areas...

    Hype for this expansion was started September 1st.... It is pretty bad PR to let the hype build for too long.

    Age of Spirits (Genie Expansion) = 65 Days Announce to Release
    The Lost Empire (Back in time quests) = 37 Days Announce to Release

    I would say that we will find our expansion somewhere with in that 4 week period (I can't imagine them releasing it much more than 2 months after announce)

    Soo Announced September 1st

    Released between October 7th - November 4th

    Laugh all you want but I wouldn't be surprised that if this expansion was released before or in early November for a few reasons.

    1. Competing with *Game which must not be named*
    2. The 200th update theory.
    3. Huge amounts of content for the expansion leaked into the files over the past updates
    4. They started the Hype September 1st can't draw it out for too long.
    5. The past expansions have opened a 4 week window for release dates.

    Only dilemma is they said to be released in Winter which technically doesn't start until December 21st

    Sometime before November 2010.

    Theres the problem, expansion comes out in winter which starts on December 21st peopleb:shutup Unless for some reason they r using the lunar calender, however this seems very unlikely as PWI's players r in countries which r on the solar calender

    I also believe nates prediction because i knew it was either last weeks patch or this week because of 1. the hype as he stated and 2. LOOK AT THE PATCH INFO.http://pwi.perfectworld.com/news/patchsubpage/patch-notes-version-196-6841 it states and a quote " This patch pre-loads roughly 300mb of the upcoming Rising Tide Expansion." Which means either it was last week or this week then it dawned on meh when they said "There is no Patch for this week" in forum, check it out :). So i was like OOOOOO they putting over time for the new patch!!!Since its sooo big and all and lastly, We on patch 196 right now, SOOOO this patch is soo big, its going 2 be at least 199-205 which is in some people calcuations. SO get kiddies, Tideborns here we comeb:laugh

    here's a simple way to tell what the release date -will most likely- be:

    1) check Patch # and physical date of release for the open release of PWI
    2) check Patch # and physical date of release for The Lost Empire
    3) check Patch # and physical date of release for Age of Spirits

    compare #s and dates. if there's a blatantly obvious pattern, then this expansion -will most likely- directly follow that pattern


    if anyone happens to know the actual information for the three things above, please post. i have a personal desire to know b:pleased
