Why am I saying this..... Cause you can meet the biggest morons ever.
I had the fun to today...

Me and my friend in faction, veno 73 and blademaster 76 went into TT to get our wraith ploy a step further. We took one of my friends in, a 85 bm (let me call him Devil) and his wife, a 78 cleric. First part, TT 1-1 went all fine.
Gotta say, Devil got all gold gears and various +5 weapons. He loves to duel people just to show them he can onehit them. And he told me he can take drummer for sure.

When we came to TT1-2 things changed. First he wanted lead and sub from me cause we had to do it in high mode like he said. I had opened the one before and I was already suspicous by then cause I dont think we had to do high. I gave him another chance. My fault....

Later we were fighting some mobs and Devil ran in before I could lure anthing. Sure, he wanted to aoe them. Send pet in, attacked one. Cleric died cause of healing agro, I silently killed my catacomb guard with my kowlin lol Then I got yelled at my pet had agrod all. Makes me wonder how I can agro them if I wasnt in first and didnt get hit once? Plus if my pet had agrod them, wouldnt they attack my pet and how the hell can a cleric pull agro from my pet with healing? Pretty dumb.
Should have quit by then but I got a good heart.

We got to drummer. Cleric asked if she shoud put up BB. They obviously whispered cause we only saw her say "kk" two times.
Devil ran in, attacked it. After a few hits he lured it to the back corner. Then suddenly cleric started spam healing me. Devils hp fell and fell, but he stayed alive for a lot of charm ticks. Then he died. My friend was next, I fell too. Oh wonder, the cleric somehow stayed alive.
Devil told me that he had told me he couldnt tank drummer. Cleric asked if she should res us. He: "No, theyre under him, they will die again, leave them." Clever, not? He lured drummer to the wall that he would be between us and entrance for when we die and he resets. He said we are finished cause he cant tank.

My friend left without a word, besides a bad whisper to me. I only told Devil that it was a pretty clever move but we had noticed.
I wont post the screens of what he said to me here but I can quote him I guess. "Stupid cow", "fuuck you". Nice. He didnt admit anything, insulted me and told me I gotta fear him from now on lol

Pretty obvious what he did. People can be such idiots and Im sad I cant name him here. Wish I could help others to not run into that guy. But I guess I can still pm people with the real name if they wanna know lol

So moral of the 'fun'.... Dont go with people you dont 1000% trust.
I learned it.

Unfortunate for you.

I try to make sure that I never do ANYTHING without people I trust or at least know their tendencies. There is soo much greed out in the game it makes me sad... then again it holds true in rl too.

Im just hoping that once I roll the new class on Harshlands i can find a helpful, friendly and TRUSTWORTHY guild asap.

Lets see stealing mats, getting people killed, kicking you from the party after you subbed hmm and since he didn't do any of this how is this BM a bad guy exactly?

Sounds to me like he was trying to help you and he and the cleric were on the same vent and communicating on there. Although he was a bit harsh with the mobs he probably meant for you to take no aggro at all from the mobs as he and a cleric can take all those mobs on if the cleric is healing someone else then someone else is taking aggro aka he thought you. So he takes that as a setback and keeps going and apparently tanks the first one as you didn't complain about it.

So it comes to the drummer you said he drags it into the corner probably to save your butts and the clerics from AoE as he does a nasty phys aoe and without BB you will die end of story. I am not sure what happened next but it seems the cleric started healing you thinking you where going to die dun't know but the BM was doing his best to tank just getting no heals there and you can ask any BM drum boss is hard even at 85. Okay the cleric probably did die but used a res scroll like a good cleric and since both of you where sitting under where the boss was it wouldn't be smart to res you so he said don't do it it would just get the cleric killed and you too.

The only thing this BM is accused of is partying with ungrateful members who rage quit cause they die.

And when he fails he gets called a **** cause he didn't know he couldn't. Check your words lest you not get helped by anyone. I certainly wouldn't I have had members like you far too many times when all I was trying to do is help.

I think you missed the whole point completely, He was being sneaky by getting lead and free sub, from someone he didn't know any better. Then dying and saying he couldn't do it, so they would leave squad, Voila free subbed TT run. Just a heads up btw, Drum doesn't automatically start his AOE with a just a few hits in. :)b:bye

Well I don't know about the whole sub thing and um its 1-1 the only other boss in a subbed 1-1 is the snake. And she didn't elaborate as to when the cleric started healing her and I know drum starts AoE at 50%.

b:bye That doesn't condone the actions taken by the accusing party anymore though. If it was simply a sub good spend a good 20 mins and get another. I don't think don't think bringing up everything else to say someone stole a single sub is worth her forum post.

Anecdote's are data, but I'll counter your bad tale with mine.
Pick up group for TT1-2. Barb, veno and archer looking for the predictable lot - took me, another veno, instead. (Couldn't find a cleric)

We were going to stick with low mode, pet-tanking the easy bosses. Then barb makes some comment about "Can't we do drum?" (And no, we can't, he one-shots my pet sometimes, and what would we do about his aoe?) so the other veno left, thinking it wasn't going to work out.

Then we pick up a really awesome cleric, and apart from one tiny problem with the rolling balls flattening him we have a straight run through, taking out everything and getting one of each of the higher mats.

Never met them before, hope to meet them again.

Well...I can kinda agree with the OP, at least on her main point. The faction I'm in has a cleric who's been kicked from squads after the last boss in a number of TT's, all with random people. There have also been instances where I've been booted from bh squads after the last boss when there was more than coin drops. There were no bad points, no faux pas that occured during the runs for either of us. Just greedy jerks who can't seem to realize that sometimes other people would like some benefit too.

Or, in other words. I kinda agree with the OP, fargle blarge QQ whine mope anger.

Principally youre right. But actually none of those points worked there.
Pull boss away from cleric? But we were 2 bms and a foxveno there, so we would still get hit.

And we were like at 95% when cleric started spam healing me, so no aoes yet, I didnt even use soultransfusion or anything that dropped my hp.

And Im pretty sure my pet didnt have agro first at the bunch of mobs. Cause you notice the nasty damage those mobs do to a kowlin ^.~

Its pretty obvious he just wanted the sub and was cheating us. Never again I say.

That's why I always use a simple guideline, even for things IRL. "Never trust anyone for more than you are willing to lose." Another simple guideline, which is applicable to TT, is "Only trust people you don't know when you have the power to fix their stupid mistakes." Reminds me of a recent TT run I had. Fail among fail among fail... An archer that didn't understand the concept of a tanking Herc... a cleric who was slower on Healing than Forrest Gump on the SATs... And a Veno who ran around like a chicken with her head cut off... I only stuck with them because I had already used my sub, I was leader, and I wasn't sure I could solo some of the bosses... (Now I KNOW I can.) It was all good in the end, though. While they may have been complete morons, they let me get my pick of the mats. Stupid, but good people... Least it's better than the ones you dealt with.

Of course, a run after that was like a gift from Heaven. BM, me, Veno, Cleric. BM DCed after the first boss, and together, the three of us got a treasure trove. I even bought the cleric some Angels and Res Scrolls to get past the balls. She was a damn good cleric. She deserved them.

The subbing 1-2 for Wraith's Ploy should've been the first indication something was wrong. Not much else you can take from this besides be more careful about who you squad with.

Well, for starters if you do have screenies, you can report the guy for abusive language and bypassing swear filters. And trust me, if you have screenshots something will be done about it.

Secondly the guy sounds like he fails in every way imaginable. Dueling ppl he can one-shot to show off his +5's? Ticking his charm like crazy and being a jerk to rob a single pathetic sub. Failing to tank drummer at lv85, charmed? He should quit immediately, he's literally a disgrace to bm's.

I only do TT with my guild friends. period.
I have turned down plenty of offers from people wanting a herc veno. I will always continue to do so.
for one.. if things dont end up right, we all can just LOL about it.
for two.. they wont skimp me on mats.
for three.. i am aware of their playing abilities.

I would have left as soon as he asked to sub. I used to be just like you...too kind. Teenagers here see it as a positive thing to be able to take advantage of you. To them its like they were being clever and strong, and you being kind are dumb and weak. Bad home training.

I leave random squads all the time. I left a random squad I got invited to yesterday by a friend. Just cause the main cleric was saying that another barb with 8% more HP would be a better tank. Even though I had almost 30% more defence.

Now a cleric teaching me about tanking is bad enough. We went to a miniboss and he didnt heal me right away. I figured this guy is gonna try to prove his point and "accidentally" not heal me. Then say "see told you so".

So I took off. Not only that, I removed that "friend" that invited me from my friend list and put them on the blacklist. For squading me with jerks.

I don't squad with randoms anymore. I did a couple of times in fail TTs, and then thought I could trust a semi-random squad in rebirth. I ended up with 100K repair bill and nothing to show for it...fail archer, fail BM and two of my cleric friends that burned charms trying to keep everyone alive. Never again.
