lets take a skill like drakes bash, discription says: dealing base physical dammage plus...
base physical dammage is your dammage WITHOUT weapon right? but the thing is you have a weapon, fists.
so my question is does an increase in your base fist dammage mean an increase in skill dammag? (thinking bout other weapon paths than fists ofc >.>)

anyone care to get a few fist mastery lvls and try it outb:cute

base damage includes your weapon damage, and as long as you use fists, it should be included when using skills.

nope, base damage has your weapon damage as part of it, which is why there's a huge gap without your weapon equipped.

If i remember right, base damage is {1+[(str*2/3)/100]+(1+weapon mastery percentage)}*(level+attack power from equipment)

I'm too lazy to explain all of that out, but someone has already done so here.

Short answer is Yes, mastery in a weapon will increase the damage you do with skills when using that weapon.
