How to make grinding more fun?

I would like to read opinions about how grinding could be make more fun on MMOs. I strongly belive that grinding is here to stay on most mmos but I wonder if there is any way to make it more fun. Any opinions?

    join a good faction with a ventrilo or speak server.

    take small breaks in between sessions

    and uhm thats about it :P

    make some friends, keep some random conversation going...easier if you use macros cuz you can type and grind at the same time >.<

    I just talk to friends and I would use vent. if I had but i don't so i just hang out and do quests together with faction!b:victoryb:laughb:bye

    If you actually want ot grind out and just lv like crazy, what i suggest is 1: get your self a Hp and Mp Charm, But Hp and Mp pots lower lvs and basially use themincase you dont want your charm to tick as much

    Next Place Some Good rhymatic Music....Something like R & B, Rock, Hip hop...something with Beat instead of non stop lyrics with cussing in it...( Yes here comes my god dam scientific knowledge) - Cases Proven that most People who listen to this and hear the songs with the constant beat or the music or the instruments etc..can stimulate the brain to move better while exercising, more alert, and also allows you not go go menatlly insane while playing a game and placing your face in it 24/7 lol...sorry last one was just a joke

    Anyways cases have proven music like that or with a uplifting beat can easily keep your mind off of usless things you dont want to think about and focus on things you do wish to think about.....

    P.S. I wont tell you the cases, cause 1: It is Private - Conducted only for University Students to see and witness >:D
    2) its not as private But i am To lazy to tell you cause its like friekn 15 pages worth of summary...YES SUMMARY....the real report is 350 pages....

    If you want fun grindind roll a bm! you can pull up to 13 mobs at a time in some places and dismantle them with ur sexy AOE skills. big xp, big money, less time wasted. Iv seen venos with hercs trying to grind in the same areas and it takes them 10 times longer cos they got to pick em off one by one.

    Apart from that theres nothing anyone can tell u that u can't tell ur self.
    otherwise its like ur asking "how can i entertain myself".. and that young whippersnipper, is all on you.

    To make grinding fun? Get a good grinding partner and chat a bit with them. Have something to listen to (TV or Music) and just go for it. Take a break every 40-50 minutes to repair and unload. Then a smoke or snack break...and return to the grind.

    how to make funn??? easy play the game as intended and dont fall for the clans that invite u for a millions pay because they ruiend it enough b:victory they only have to set few agreements and because we have a flawing tw system that never worked they can controll the server gold wise tw wise pk wise u name it

    wonder how much gold cq money the company loses on this

    put the game in window mode, fire up your media player, put on a movie, adjust the size of both screens so you can easily see both, grind away while watching a movie

    works better if you have 2 or 3 monitors

    I'm always watching TV and while grinding. Listening to music or eating a snack can make grinding more enjoyable too.

    I try not to grind =o

    But if i had to, I'd make the client smaller in size (so it fits in about half my screen) -- and get a movie going in the other half. b:thanks

    Grinding is the fun part of the game.. it is a contest between you and the sadistic programmer that came up with it...
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    I think, the solution is less grinding and more meaningfull questing.

    I think grinding with with non player characters would be nice. I mean, if you could squad with general summer, that would be great.b:victoryb:laugh

    Step 1: Make a BM, stat to axes.
    Step 3: Make a cleric.
    Step 4: Dual-box.
    Step 5: AOE the living **** outta everything in your way. Stacks well with Justice Orders and One-man Army quests.
    Step 6: ???
    Step 7: PROFIT!

    That's how I grind, when I can be bothered. I kinda feel like grinding now. x]

    A lot of lower level quests are just thinly disguised grinding sessions. Kill 20, 25, 30, 35, or 50 of this or that. Real grinding of course involves the wholesale slaughter of hundreds of mobs.

    I make mine more enjoyable by using those training booster scrolls, harvesting herbs in the midst of adversity, and trying out mobs 5 to 10 levels above me to see how I do. ROFL

    Another policy I follow is I use quests as much as possible to level up, then grind the remainder. Sometimes I grind just to fill my wallet. Since Mirage Cellstones can fail and Crafts never do, I sell my cellstones and craft my weapons and armor.

    you can have two pc's on same keyboard and same mouse. You need a switch item that is very cheap. All you do is to click "scrol lock" twice to jump from one pc to the other.
