Which Class, Im new

Hi i played perfect world a while ago and had a lvl 30 barbarian.
Now ive decided to come back but cant decide if should b a claw blademaster, cleric, wizard or a barbarian! I like epic skills and alot of them. Also if im a Bm could i b claws AND axes or will i not have enough skill points (or watever there called).

    You could probably still have that Barb why not start there.

    You can get every single darn skill up to max level provided you have the level requirement and enough $$ and spirit.

    so yar you can get a bm which uses every weapon at max level. (it'll take you forever to do that but it's possible)

    also define "epic skills" do you mean really flashy? all of the classes are flashy but the flashiest skill i've seen is the cleric lightning and the wizard's ultimates

    yea by epic i mean really flashy also i dont wanna take ages to get all the skills i jsut want a flash class and i dont wanna continue my barbarian.

    Also does anyone know wat server the guild Balrogz was on or is on?

    Completely untrue, Venomancers have the most boring list of skills in the 'flashy' department; many would concur.

    All the 'cool' skills are either for levels 59 whom are cultivated or higher skill levels. If you want to play a game with 'cool' looking animations; I suggest playing a PS3 game or something similar.

    does anyone else think this guy is a bit ridiculous. he wants a "flashy" class. not one that plays well??? wtf? b:chuckle
    It's too bad but "free to play, pay to win"-sckye

    These "updates" are seeming more and more like downgrades.

    of course i want a class that plays well out of barbarian Claw BM Wiz and cleric which plays well is fun and has flashy skills?

    also does anyone know wat server the guild Balrogz was or is on?

    Yeah.You may want to give up on your barb but they are really wanted in squads for tanking bosses.

    Well Ill word it a bit better im picking between Wizard,Cleric and Fist (or claw) BM. Which one should i go if so wat build and what should i put stats into?

    Cleric is good Healer but poor warrior, Wizard is a good spellcaster, but is badly protected against physical attacks.

    In any case you must have at least patience to play this game.

    ok i decided cleric b:laugh but wat build? i like to nuke but also love buffing and healing i guess hybrid will b for me but people say it is bad at high lvls so wat build do u suggest for me (a link to it 2 would b nice)

    Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that this guy thinks that as soon as he creates a character, he becomes max level and can just flash around spamming skills?

    Honestly, unless you have the patience to level ANY class, they won't learn a 'flashy' animation skill. A fist blademaster will most likely never learn anything 'flashy', because to play a fist blademaster in the most beneficial way, you won't learn any of the 'flashy' skills due them being either a waste of money for a bad attribute of the skill or being utterly useless. Only skills that a fist blademaster really finds useful are Cyclone Heel and Shadowless Kick, which aren't all that flashy after using them a billion times =/.

    Neither the cleric or the wizard just magically start off with 'flashy' skills until they get cultivated to learn their level 59 skills. And for some reason, maybe relevant to the barb thing, I get a feeling he's not interested in leveling characters all that much to acquire these flashy skills.

    Again, my suggestion is to play a console game. If you still want to venture into it, get a coin. Name heads wizard and name tails cleric. Toss the coin. Whatever you get, do the same thing again by naming the lost side of the coin fist blademaster. Whatever you get, you pick.

    i have played ALOT of mmos and i know u dont get any flashy skills till a high lvl and on some games near the cap :D so im just asking what build i should b for cleric if i like nuking and also like healing and buffing but people say hybrid is bad at high lvl. also could u put a link to the guide of the build u tell me. Thanks!

    If you're interested in DD'ing rather than playing a supporting class, I suggest going Full Attack Cleric.

    To choose class newbies like you can use following guids:

    a) Cleric
    b) Wizard
    c) Blademaster
    d) Venomancer
    e) Archer
    f) Barbarian

    Yup, but it's suggested to only max out Ironheart Blessing for a healing skill and leave the other healing skills at 1. So you can have enough coins and spirits to buy the attack spells. Google 'Full Attack Cleric guide Perfect World' or something similar if you don't get enough information from that sub section.

    well i dont really wanna go cleric now so ill stop bugging u guys and just ask one last question. As A Claw BM can i get all claw moves and even maybe get some axe skills at high lvls? Also there are many different builds for fist but wat is most suggest e.g 3str 2 dex? i was thinking 3str 2dex what do u think i should do?

    If you want claw + axe, you're build has to be a very precise 3str, 2dex. The reason is the gear requirements, you need 3str & 0.5dex per level to hold a current level axe, and 1.5str & 2dex per level to hold a current level claw. Any deviation from 3str & 2dex will make you unable to hold the weapons you'd like. (for future reference its actually [(level-1)*("per level") + 5] for the requirement calculations). You wont have any room for any Vit.

    1.As a claw BM can i have all claw skills and at a high lvl get axe skills aswell and will i still be good as darkslyph said 3str 2 dex but will i still b good at endgame with 3str 2dex and claw+axe.

    2.Also if i decide cleric which cleric build should i go i really wanna heal buff and still have nukes and still b really good at a high lvl!

    3.Also Which Server Should a new player play on looking for a really active and nice community with active guilds.

    1. Easily. I know a few BM's who use every single weapon path. If you find you're leveling to fast, start pumping your exp into a genie until your spirit builds up enough and continue. Research into it, a lot of skills you don't even need to max out right away. It's also true you can't add any vit, so if you're gonna shard your gear go for citrine.

    2. Full attack cleric or LA cleric would be the best for fighting and/or pvp. Both can still support perfectly well.

    3. It doesn't make much difference, but be aware of the difference between a pvp and pve server before you join one. If you go pvp you need to be interested in pk and willing to accept the fact that after lv30 anyone at all, any level, can kill you whenever and as much as they like.

    it's really not that hard for you to find all the answer to every single quest you've asked, if you just went to the class sub-forums and have a read of the stickies there. but to answer your questions:

    1. it is possible for you to have and max all fist and axe skills later on. you can even have enough spirits and maybe coins to master every single skill in your skill tree. and this goes for all classes as well. if you are using 3str and 2dex build, you better be rich, because you'll want to refine and shard your armor heavily to make up for the loss of hp due to no vit. or you'll just keep dieing and wanting to change to another class. a possible solution to this is to go with one weapon build/skill tree, later, when you have the spirit, coins you can get your gears up to standard, but a stat reset scroll and change to the 3str 2dex build. To know which weapon tree suits you, go to the blademaster forum and have a look at the stickies. there are also builds there.

    2. from what i can see, you really just want a straight answer, then here it is: hybrid build: even lvls: 4mag 1 str, odd lvls: 3mag 2vit. you will have a pretty good base hp and you will not loose very much on your nuke powers. and yes, you can nuke heavily, so kill well, also, you can buff and heal, so support well. if you go with this build, you will be very powerful late to end game, from what i've seen.

    3. depends on what you want to do. if you like pk a lot, then go to a pvp server (lost city or harshland); if you don't really like pk, then go to a pve server (heaven's tear or sanctuary or dreamweaver). however, pk is still very possible in pve server, is just that we have the option to choose to go to pk or not. every server has very active community, but the 3 older servers will have more people.
