Mysterious Chip stuff

Sorry for Posting this , I looked up through out the forums but couldn't find the answer I was looking for...

What exactly are mysterious chips used for...I heard u can exchange it for molds but anything else?

and Where can I find the Mysterious Merchant, what city and how to get to him , please and thank you if a kind person would explain properly ^^

    the merchant is over at 1000 streams it will show everything you can get with them but to get the chips i dunno

    The chips are a type of currency and yes they are used to by molds as well as gold mats and other miscellaneous items.
    To find the Mysterious Merchant he is located in Thousand Streams not too far off from the elder there. However, while I am not entirely positive i do believe you will require flight to access the city.

    thanks ^_^, I am already inside the city , I just could not find the merchant and I tired even using coordinate finder all it said was invalid coordinates.

    Must of been a lag issue or a dced issue.

    Several Cube rooms are set to give Mysterious Chips as rewards for completing the challenge(s) therein. b:victory

    If you have the coin you can get a fair amount of chips using tokens. However seeing as the event is nearing it's end I have noticed Token Shops to be somewhat scarce now.

    Chip rooms are 15, 22, 31, 42. Anyone who's run the cube enough will know those numbers without having to look them up. :P

    Don't forget there is a coin fee on top of the mysterious chips. If you do not have the required amount of chips in your inventory for an item when you visit the merchant, all you can see is the amount of chips needed. However if you have the chips, you can see the amount of coins needed to get the item.
    I was bummed after I found out I had to pay coins as well to get some molds b:cry
