Wouldnt it be cool if you can Ride underwater Fast with a Mount?
It would need underwater views and a City, maybe for the next Class?
And a Giant Water World.
And this game also needs an UnderGround Class in a Dark Underground Cave City.

the underground idea kinda reminds me of diablo, but i say excellent idea. would be interesting to see how something like that would be implemented for the maps though. elevation would go negative of course, but the map would become more layered than it is currently and could get cluttered if it was all shown in a single layer map.
also, that is kinda begging for more floating cities, perhaps raising the elevation limit from 78 to some undiscovered aerial territory or something.
tho i gotta note, ur thread title only mentions mounts, so talk about new areas for map here may be a dead end.
def like the idea tho.0 -

With current pictures of the new area, the only thing that seems to be under water is the new fb19Power, greed and corruption all lead to unhappinessb:shocked0

=P I came out with this idea before PWI even announced there would be tidesborn classes and it went 50% 50% some said that would be stupid because theres no point to have a mount when you don't go in the water for anything except a quest or two and others said yes I don't like flying or riding a land mount any more a water mount to explore under water areas would be fun.Sakuraaaaaaa - Tsubasa leader

probably about as annoying as the 2 or 3 seconds it takes to switch from land to air mount presently to cross water
with regard to the new map, it does look like at least parts of it should be further underwater, as the edge of the current available/unavailable areas do no match up as though the new islands will be sunk when it goes live. Also recent pictures have shown a structure floating in the sky above the new main city, but it could be that structure will float on the water's surface - the distances look about right.
It does seem to be a lot of work to implement a whole new territory and NOT take advantage of the income new mounts which make travelling in it easier would generate.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
There is no place in a perfect world for double entendre!0 -
this is something they will most likely consider, and i would put my house on the fact that the map isnt changing water-map. if you go into it you can see they have alligned everything up perfectly it would make no sense to change.
i think in regards to swimming, they will have tideborn quite fast underwater.. which makes sense since half their map is underwater...
you know tideborn has their own armor? 2 types of it lol...
so now its heavy armor, light armor, robes, tideborn robes, tideborn armor?
