Yep. You are in PVP server so you have to deal with it or switch to PVE server.

The only time people can get in trouble is if they are harrassing other players. Meaning if they follow you around to kill you over and over disrupting your gametime. In such a case please do send a ticket to Customer Support. Moving this to PvP ponderings.

Imagine you have just become lvl 30 and two lvl 50+ follow you and you alone around all day killing you over and over that is a disruption of gameplay and can get you in trouble with the admins. It is really a case by case basis. Nobody minds a KoS but if you do something like in that example and the lvl 30 asks you to leave him alone so he can play the game...

I can sympathize with being killed at an NPC while trying to hand in a quest. Been there, and had that done to me. But I don't think that's a lack of common decency on the PKers behalf, assuming that's all they did. If they moved on to laugh at you and ridicule, then yes I would agree that there is a problem there. But otherwise, this is a PVP server. Players against other players. Not "players against other players when they are ready and are the same level as me and when they have the same equipment as me and when they are the same class as me and if they dont have a nix and when they agree to my terms and rules of pking".

According to that logic that pking someone lower level than them is a "sin" because they are helpless, then wouldnt a person with +12 tricked up equips killing an equal level person with +0 **** **** equips also be considered taboo? In my humble opinion, "honour" is a personal thing on a PVP server. It's not a right. If you happen to stumble across an "honourable" person, then awesome. But if you happen to get pked where ever you are doing whatever you're doing, then yes, it sucks, but that's the game. When someone PKs, someone's bound to get upset over it. Unless they're purposely griefing you, i dont see a problem.

Mmmm that is basicaly what a pvp server is.... forced to go out of blue... it is not any different once you choose to go out of blue on a pve server... you make it sound like it is different lol

Not an excuse but I will say this -- We all lived through it and believe me it is NOT AS BAD as it was when I and many of the higher levels were lvl 30. This server is a PvP cakewalk for the lowers levels right now imo. Sad to say but true. even my alts have walked through to level 50 only being pk'd maybe 3 times. When I was leveling, it was like 20 times a day in the same spot.

Yes, there is a point where it gets ridiculous by many ppl, however..I think many who complain now end up doing the same thing when they get to be higher level...

On a PVE server, you can disable the PVP function any time you want. You can do whatever you want prior to entering battle, hence eliminating the surprise and omgimlv30he'skillingalowbie factor. This is a function in a PVE server, and it's your right to use it. I may not necessarily agree it's like a duel per say on a PVE server because I've never played one, but like I said before, the critical difference is in your ability to switch PK mode on and off.

On a PVP server, you can kill and get killed anywhere anytime. Hence the name PVP server. There is no "I don't feel like getting PKed today so I'll just turn on my blue name". You should be ready to get fight back or get killed at all times to be honest, because anyone can just drop out of the blue without warning.

In short, the difference between PKing on a PVP and a PVE server is, PKing on a PVP server is spontaneous, while on a PVE server it is not. And that, in my humble opinion makes a world of a difference.

Which is why, it is in my belief that if a player consciously chose to play on a PVP/PVE server, then they should also accept the environment they play in.

You can still avoid pvp on a pvp sever if you do not fee like, all you have to do is to go into an instance alone... than nobody will come and get you. It is really not that different. I mean, the random ganking of noobs is different, since we do not have that in pve servers, but if you fighting high level players, it really is not that different, except you have to hunt a little more to find a target, since you will not get easy kills in PVE servers, as a rule of thumb that it.

Obviously, this is only my view based on playing in HT, where the vast majority of high levels run around white named or in different shades of pink or red.
