IDK If another post has been made, i looked an didnt see one but what is wrong with bramble and bramble hood? In PK and TW it no longer reflects damage, just curious if the skill got bugged OR if they really nerfed the veno's skillb:sad thats like taking a clerics plumeshell or barbs invoke awayb:cry

    lmao what 7x veno would still beleive magic reflects? and im talkin about using it against barbs and BMs, yes it still has damage reduction but that wasnt the great part of it, it works in duels but not PK or TW..

    EDIT: And im talkin about bramble as well, not just brmble hood

    I believe you are quite confused on how Invoke the Spirit and Plume Shell functions.

    If you gain the ability to gain a reduction to all damage, it still functions much like those two skills.

    I'd hardly call this a nerf compared to the pet abusive bug.

    hmmm okay, im not comparing the skills power, im sayin its an essential part of the veno's just like invoke an plumeshell is important for barb an cleric, 200% phys damage reflect is an important part of bramble hood skill, 2nd our other skill called bramble doesnt work at all in TW or PK, its just taking up space an i wanted to know why it doesnt work

    veno bramble hood deflects melee damage only in tw and duels....but it still absorbs in pk. and bramble doesnt work at all in pk only pve XDb:laugh...yet a cleric or barb doesnt have a pet nix bleeding robe's 1 tick = heiro tick LOL

    Hmm kk, well first off today in TW it didnt work, 2nd i've killed people in PK mode with bramble hood....is your char even a venob:puzzled

    and no, im a 97 warrior. but ive killed enough veno's to know ive never died to deflect on pwi...

    hmm DW hasnt been open for 8months, but it was sometime agob:surrender prolly a lil less then 2months, took a long break from PW an came back but it worked then ><

    Perhaps you were Purged during TW?
    I don't know why you're complaining about reflection, the only ones really suffering are tanks and sub tanks <<.

    Unless they changed things incredibly recently, Bramble works in TW to my knowledge. Guard's reflect does, don't know about Hood.

    Bramble Hood has never worked in PK
    It works in duels and PvE

    bramble hood was nerfed about 6-8 patches ago. all the melee classes QQ'd about 1shotting themselves on it, so the devs nerfed it so the dmg reduction still works, but the reflect does not

    bramble guard still reflects damage in duels, not sure about pk/pvp and tw


    EDIT: i may be wrong about how long ago, it might be more like 8-10 patches ago

    If that is the case I am unaware.
    I've been playing since October '08
    I have never been affected by Hood in PK.
    Albeit, it is possible nobody used hood on me until aforementioned patch.
    Either way, hood's reflect doesn't work in PK. Idk about the damage reduction.

    hood only reflects normal melee hits and skills that are pure melee (skills with any range at all dont trigger it). i am of course speaking as if it still worked lol

    it also only lasts 15 seconds, so it is entirely possible that by the time you performed the hits that would've reflected, it had worn off already. plus it takes two sparks to cast b:laugh

    b:bye. Just wondering if any of you guys knew why Bramble Guard reflects Farstrike & Spirit Chaser? Bramble Guard's skill description plainly states it reflects melee damage. Farstrike & Spirit Chaser are both not listed as "Melee" skills under the 'Range' category (like Tiger Maw, Aeolian Blade, etc.).

    for the record, a lot of classes have this sort of defensive 59 skill anyway. venos' bramble hood is definitely on par in usefulness with archers' wings of grace and barbs invoke even without the reflect.

    What is with venos thinking the General Discussion is their forum?

    What is with you thinking this is a Veno only question? In order for us to find out if Reflect causes damage in PvP, the people to ask would be those doing Melee damage, IE, Blademasters and Barbarians, who do not usually go into the Veno forums.

    I think he was thinking of the dual axe heavy venos that are running around....
