Just curious, i downloaded the patch and haven't noticed anything different. I know it says 300MB of the new tideborn data but did it actually change anything as of now? Please and thank you

They added some of the new update just as files in the client so when the update does come it wont take as long ^^
as for what happend during this check:

Yep, just a pre-load. So when the Tideborn update is released, you don't have to download the entire update since you already have some downloaded.0
