    Awww... very hard would be to make something from scratch ( and one week is not enough ), maybe during winter we'll have a lot more time to work on the calendar, that would be great. Well, I'll give it a try anyway, this looks fun.

    It is short time for someone who will render a scene. Hm maybe impossible to create a pic in this time with 3d work. Especially when the PC is not the fastes. *shrugs* But who cares previous contests told us that such hard work, especially 3D, isn't even worth a try.b:bye

    Wow....2-3 hours spoons? D: try hand drawing a wallpaper and CG it.... it takes 30 hours at least...for a decent one that is

    I wanna see this costume so i know whether to bother on an entry or not. I was really hoping for mount prize :/ I want that bulbfish like serious buisness. Now that I think of it i'm not gonna ruin my chance at a mount by going for a costume that might be ugly. I guess I have to wait for the november or december calendar ^^;

    Well, it took me like 2 month make my model for PWI, and render like 2-3 hours, then Photoshoping for like 2 hour for final........b:shutup

    Finished mine in an hour. An extra 20 minutes to make a second one with a different colour scheme using the same base template.
    It really is easy to make if you know what you're doing or if you have an outline of your ideas.

    You upload your calendar to an image database, I use Photobucket. Then you copy the direct link of your calendar and when you make your post on this forum click on the icon that looks like a green mountain, with yellow sky (when hovered over says insert image) and paste your link in the pop up box. That's it.

    If you're wondering how to make a calendar, you will need an image editing program, like GIMP(which is free).

    Then you just need to download the template in the first post here, and create whatever you want. If you are still unclear on what to do, check out some examples from past contests.
