Command and game response time lagging

Whenever I click on a monster or issue a command, like to attack or to use my magic, it takes the game about 5 seconds to respond. Besides that nothing is lagging and I can still walk around fine. Does anyone know how to fix this, please? I've tried the performance button already and it doesn't help.

    It usually just means the server is bogged down from many people online at once. Sometimes if I go into my network settings in my control panel and reset the local network adapter, it helps a bit. There really isn't a whole lot you can do about it though, in my experience anyway.

    CTRL + ALT + DELETE = WIN = ) sorry, lotsa things seem borked with this game atm. Personally, I think PWI either has lousy servers, or they are getting hosed by their service provider :P

    the game in general has seemed to lagg more since the genie patch. places that normally didnt bother me i'm starting to glitch lag at. and if you have satellite internet, then the 5second delay has a tendency of occuring on such a connection.

    We have players from Australia/New Zealand, Brasil, Singapore, South Africa, and more that can play the game fine with out network latency.

    However, some players in those regions also have issues with their ISPs, and how they route data packets for them globally (like if you are in Australia, having the packets go across Asia and Europe, THEN to the US, then back to Australia, it logically makes no sense.).

    We have also found out from several players that ISPs will have tiered data plans, some of which allow game traffic, where as the other, lower priced tiers do not. The kicker is, those types of ISPs don't tell their customers this until AFTER they have signed up with a certain ISP.

    What kind of internet connection do you have? How are you connected to the internet?
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
