Is the dragon quest in anyway inportent?

Is the dragon quest important in any way or is it just like any other quests?

    It's a normal quest, but most of players don't do it and trash it. DQ is expensive, takes a lot of time (you have to fly around)...and is borring.
    If i m trolling and spamming on forum...then i cant sleep and need a good laugh

    Dragon Quest keeps you occupied when u got nothing else better to do. It requires you to hunt tons of monsters to get Dragon quest items (different items for different level dragon quest) and in exhange for some cool items.

    But be warned!!

    U need to hunt for TONS or dragon quest items. And this quest requires you to REPEATEDLY travel to different towns to talk to different NPCs (very expensive if u teleport and time consuming)

    For example: Dragon Helrald (the npc that rewards u dragon quest items) has a mount called Silver/Violet Mane. Well, it's a horse that has 9m/s speed. Quite good for travelling BUT... requires 50 copper and 50 silver dragon orders.

    Completion of lv20 Dragon Quest rewards u with 1 copper order. Completion of lv 31 Dragon quest rewards u with 1 copper order. Each quest u need to hunt about 6 dragon quest items dropable from monsters, 10 of each.

    According to this link, by the time u get to do the lv 40+ dragon quest...there's a 20% chance u will get silver order. Each 10 level dragon order increases the chance for u to obtain a higher lv order... e.g silver and lastly, gold.

    So imagine this... to get 1 copper order, you need to hunt 6 (different types of items, e.g element dust, etc) x 10 of each = 60 items. Repeat this 50 times to get 50 copper orders. Same for the silver/gold orders.

    That's the reason why this quest is soooooooo time consuming and boring and expensive to travel around if u teleport.

    Most players sell the quest items away to NPC or create another account to hold those items. In either way, do skip it unless u want to spend half of your Perfect World lifetime hunting for DQ items...

    heck I think you can afford to buy any DQ item you want by selling the mats yourself...
    I did 20/31/most of 41/51.
    And IT'S SO NOT WORTH IT

    There is no other place to get high level magic ring molds.... unlike might rings, the magic ones cannot be bought with chips, you can only get them from orders....

    The DQ mold ring has similar stats, including the 6% channeling, and it is much lower level.
