    Yes but with the way it is those people just spam images in the few forums that do allow it in order to feed their image-rush. Instead of it being spread evenly amongst the forums.


    I think the reason that IMG isn't allowed is in order to discriminate against the other forums, but I believe that ONE DAY OFF-TOPIC AND GENERAL DISCUSSION WILL STAND, NOT WITH ONE AS A SUPERIOR BUT AS EQUALS, BOTH WITH THIER IMAGES, WHOSE WITH ME!!!!!!

    The thing is, people have different screens, therefore different perceptions of size. Someone with a 24" screen will think that a 1280x720 picture is "small", whereas someone with a 19" screen will end up having majority of their screen covered by that. Also, if the picture is larger than the resolution of a person's screen, there's hardly a point.

    And large pictures take a lot of time to load, which is kinda annoying for people with slower internet connections.

    the main problem is that managing signature and avatar sizes means extra work to mods/admins. the other problem is that people often post obscene things... supporting image posts means more nasty things to be moderated. having slow pages is not a problem nowadays.

    If that were the problem then NO FORUMS would have enabled yet some do. And as for the slow internet part, one of the forums that does haveenabled is one of the busiest ones (general discussion)
