Hello!
Im new on PW and need to chose a class.
Basicaly i want a PvE class, if it can solo, better.
is BM my choice?
if not, can you give me some tips?

to answer ur questions:
1)idk

wat class u play depends on ur personal preference and playstyle.
Clerics: "Healers"/"Supporters"; for ppl that like to heal/help others alot (nice ppl =P)
Archers: "Glass Cannon 1"; for ppl that like to kill quickly from a distance, and agile up close
Venomancers: "Rich ppl"; for ppl that like to fight behind a pet(best pets u get by paying ALOT for)
Barbarians: "TANK"; for ppl that like to tank/be the meat sheild for the rest of the squad(highest hp)
Blademasters: "stuner"; for ppl that don't want to be a tank, but like to be in the front line.
Wizard: "Glass Cannon 2"; for ppl that like to deal the highest dmg, and like seeing big numbers pop up.
i'm not the best at summing up classes b:victoryi'm the one spinning in their chair, eating a ring-pop, wondering y the world hates broccolie so much... but loves it w/ cheese O.o... mabye we all should wear cheese to be better ppl. (Yes!!.. One more step to RUULING the worldb:thanks)0 -
I disagree. Not every Veno is rich. I'm not, but I don't play like I used to.
#2 I know some Archers (among other classes) that have it pretty well off.
#3 Anyone can become rich via the cash shop, the question is how much you want to invest in a game.
Wizards/Archers do have the highest DPS, though, I think the Cleric could compete with them since they are also a mostly magic build and deal both physical and magical damage. A good Cleric can out DD almost any tank. Blademaster make good money, or the ones I know do. They also often act as a back up tank when needed. They've saved my **** countless times in dungeons. Venos are your all-in-one class. They are the solo squad of tank, DD, and healer (though there are instances when a veno can only heal and maybe squeak in a curse).0 -

If you purely want pve and solo ability I would say barb. Not just cuz i'm a barb either. We don't deal low damage but not the highest. pretty good for melee though. We are known for durability in a fight though. You should definitely be able to hold your own.It's too bad but "free to play, pay to win"-sckye
These "updates" are seeming more and more like downgrades.

non-vit cleric (glass whatever) if you're not planning to get above level like 50 lol (they kill everything in 2-5 hits)
non-vit venos are the best solo class I think...
can heal pet
have that fat guy healing thing
also can switch hp% and mp% (saves mp pots)
and your equipments don't break
only bad thing is that it's female only -.-
For a bm to solo uh... I guess aoe grinding? the lowest aoe grinding spot are level 72 mobs. You can aoe grind at level 47 mobs too but you'd die. You'd be so dead you won't even be able to go back to town; that's how dead you'll be.
Key term:
aoe grind - GRINDING at a spot by killing multiple enemies at once (USUALLY more than 8) taking on 10 and then go back on killing them 1 by 1 is not aoe grinding -.-
as for other classes hmm...

For solo play? BM or cleric.
Both can easily solo their normal quests, clerics have a bit of trouble early on if you're learning them. The main thing is both have the ability to AoE grind.
BMs need heavy armor, decent molds if they can get them or 3*s, and a set of good axes. They can pretty easily take on 10-20 mobs even with 0 vit build starting around lvl 70. Just have to use stuns and sparks, while doing it charmed. Cheaper can be done with genie heal.
Clerics end up surpassing BMs in terms of AoE, once they get some gear for it. They look for the trash armors, ones with wood only resists/wood resist adds. They can then AoE poison mobs, killing 20+ mobs at once with no problem. Also able to be done with 0 vit build. Currently my 91 cleric is killing somewhere between 30-35 lvl 96 mobs at once. The cleric can do other roles, but at its heart will always earn more money when played right. Also, they can do it charmless.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Go here if you want to debate about it. - Lyndura

So you want solo PvE,well id say venoms are your choice.Im only lvl24 but so far leveling and soloing has been a piece of cake.I bet you already choosed your class but still,im just saying that venoms are a good solo pve class b:victory0

Except he's looking for a good PvE class.
Basically, any class is good for day to day PvE. Computer AI are...well, not exactly stupid, but they don't compare to human intelligence. Humans will pull out tricks to try to kill you, but AI will simply attack, attack, attack. Bosses tend to have alternate attacks (such as AoE), but they have a predictable pattern. My advice is to look at some builds, try out different classes, and pick one that fits your play style.I am Belldandy, Goddess 1st Class, Unlimited License.

The post above summerised it all.
Though i must say, the human race is not suited for PVE proper at lower levels. You will only see a human race shine when they are at least lv 50 - 60+.
If you are just trying out this game like u've said, i would advise you to go for an elf or untamed race. You would not want to sit and meditate every 3 mobs or so dont you?
Once you have got a decent level on ur elf / untamed, try out humans if you want. Because you have the fundings from a main, you would be truely able to enjoy human race at the beginning.
Blademasters are pretty fun at higher levels as you can both DD and tank, not mentioning the various AOE skills that you can use.0 -
If you want to solo and PVE I'd say barb is your best bet. We have great survivalbility, hp, and defense. Our accuracy isn't as bad as everyone thinks, and I don't use bloodbath either. (waste of hp till endgame) We do pretty good damage since we use axes with have the highest max damage out of any melee weapon. And once you pick up tanking dungeons are one of the things you look forward to. As a tank you are always looked for in a squad and you no girl can resist the fur b:sin. The drawbacks are you armor breaks quickly and costs a lot to repair, only male characters, and low character customization. I'm using a tank build by the way.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I chose venomancers because they are one of the best soloing classes in game
(were the only ones that can solo TT) i tried some other classes but they all seemed to miss something. This is my opinnion and i'm ready for the flames of other people b:bye0 -
