hello. ive been looking in forums and cant find anything on this so here is my question.
how does pet exp work? what lvl do mobs need to be to give it exp? and is it possible to be killing to high of mobs to give it exp?

not asking about loyalty exp that is pretty self explanitory.

You get 15xp per kill as long as the mob you are killing is around your pets level. I think it's about no mroe than 3 levels lower for full XP. You still get XP from lower, I believe, but it's quite abit less.

Pet exp depends on it's hunger level. Feed it well so that it gets 120% Exp. You can check it's hunger level by looking at the bar below the pet' hp bar.

    General tips would include:
    1) Buy 5 or so sesame oil or other pet food to get the hunger bar to the fullest.
    2) Use water to satisfy the pet's hunger every few minutes.
#This is the most efficient way to level your pet.

There's a level difference for each pet. U cannot get exp from a level 10 pet if your pet is say..level 50. I'm not sure the exact difference but it is safe to say that you should train your pet on a monster a few levels below it.

I know this coz I used to have a level 39 Crystaline Magmite with full exp bar. (My character then was level 39 also). The moment I leveled up, I brought my magmite to a noob map (under level 10) and i realized that it could not level to 40 no matter how many mobs i kill.

I hope this info helps u. If there's any wrong info, I stand corrected ^^

thnx for info. and i did notice that at 9 lvls lower than my pet it didnt recieve any exp so i guess keep it close to pet lvl when needing exp for pet. so the pet doesnt recieve higher exp from mobs that are higher than it?

no extra Xp for higher lvled mob.. It would be nice tho

the max is 15 Xp per mob ~ at full loyalty

I believe you start loosing on the 15 as soon as the mob is one lvl lower than your pet. 1 lvl lower = 14 xp

If you talk to one of the trainers, I think the Pet Trainer, there is a section that will explain Loyalty to you. At 500+ for your pet's Loyalty it is considered Loyal and will do the highest damage and gain 15 exp/kill. 200-500 is Tame and it will do moderate damage and gain only 10 exp/kill. Lower than 200 Loyalty is Wild I believe and the pet's damage will be weak and it will gain 5 exp/kill.
